Saw Ayhlin's ad on Eros.  I saw her once at Peanuts in person and thought she was cute and feminine but not CRAZY curvy like her current pictures show.  Perhaps she worked out a lot before the shoot.  Then I noticed the distortion of her pictures.  Look closely at the tile by her waist you'll see the joints are skewed instead of perpendicular as they are everywhere else in the picture...obviously the picture was manipulated to make her waist look incredibly thin/curvy.

While this is not cutting and pasting a new face in, it's still deceptive to me, esp. when she gives you the 'aren't you tired of fake photos' line.  She's cute as it is...What does everyone else think?

Deceptive and dispicable or savvy marketing?

Ha-ha-ha.  Got caught.  That's nothing, don't you love the CL photos - the one's where ts's have cropped heads onto girls bodies, etc.

I remember a couple of years ago we were at Glamour Shots getting some "head shot" portraits done. While I was waiting I watched the digital guy use his "thinning" filter on various photos he was touching up.  I wish I could take the pounds off that easy!

Personally I'd say that so long as someone isn't grossly misrepresenting themselves it's harmless.

Giggle,
TS Jamie

I'd say it was savvy marketing.  All the stars do it, playboy magazine does it, and madison avenue certainly does it. It comes with the territory. I had a great time recently with a girl in LA (my last review)who didn't look a lot like her photos either. They got me there, she didn't look bad, and I had a good time; now if the photos got me there and I had a bad time, then I would bitch about it.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it either, as long as you are not exaggerating to the extreme or anything...In this particular case, I would say that the artist went a little overboard in thinning this model to the point where her head looks a little big for her body but, this is just my opinion as an artist.
Speaking of which, I have gotten pretty good with MY photoshop program, and am planning to open up a side-business in graphic-arts in the near future in which I will be offering photo-retouching like this, logos, banners, etc...
If there are any providers who might need help with your photos, art on your websites, animation, etc...please let me know okay??
Have a great week everyone!
