So I saw that Zeira was visiting my area. I checked out all the reviews, which were pretty much top notch. That's when I decided to e-mail her about other details not shown in her profile.

When she e-mailed me back to give her a call, I called her. Reached her first call, and said I had just emailed her for info, and was calling for further info.
That's when she asked if I am white or black. When I replied that I am black, she said sorry, but she doesn't see black men. End of conversation. So, I really wonder if those reviews are real in their praise, and regardless this is just a FYI for anyone who is a minority not to waste time calling her. She has a select clientele. Yet another reason why TS's seem to have bad reputations, unfortunately.

Oh I'm sure the reviews are real its just that they happen to be fom non minority customers. You would think that those people who indulge in this type of hobby both as a provider and a customer would be a little more open about race gender etc.

Same thing happened to me when I called her.  Funny thing is she actually called me back later to say sorry and explained why.  Still wouldnt see me though.  I tried to change her mind but no luck.  She does post here though, but nothing recent.  Maybe one day she'll have a change of heart.

"She has a select clientele. Yet another reason why TS's seem to have bad reputations, unfortunately"

This was recently a major topic of discussion on Seattle's Craigs List Review Board. Evidently a GG provider posted that she would not see African American men. One person raised a complaint and was then overwhelmingly shot down for questioning her preferences. Seems that many people in the "hobby" think that black men are bad for business or something. Pretty thinly veiled racist bullshit if you ask me. (And of course every post started with :" I'm not racist but....')

So I don't think that this is specific to TS providers in any way shape or form.

Who cares? Why when someone shows a preference they are labeled racist?? Some providers do not see overweight clients etc. It's their ass ( no pun intended) they have a right to do with it as they see fit. Go see someone else and have a good time.

Sorry, but you guys are full of crap.  A provider doesn't OWE it to you to see anyone and everyone that calls her.  If she doesn't want to have sex with a black guy, that's her preference.

Being a provider doesn't mean you have to give up your personal preferences.  You don't relinquish your rights as a human being to be with who you want to be with.

Do you think providers should be forced to see everyone that calls them?  She told you up front, she was honest, she didn't waste your time or money.  Move on.

I care. I don't expect everyone to take the same stance on this as I do, or to have the same political beliefs. But, I am a white American, and I reap the benefits of racism, especially in this industry. The general treatment that many African-American hobbyists have described makes me sad. So I speak my mind, because I believe that is the right thing to do.

"Why when someone shows a preference they are labeled racist?? "
Well it doesn't seem like this is a preference, it seems like this is a rule she has for her own safety. I think that the "preference" is based on lumping all Black people together in one category and deciding that they are likely to be bad/dangerous clientele.

I looked up the definition of racism:

rac-ism:
n. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

Discrimination or prejudice based on race"
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=racism

I don't thinkt hat Zeira believes people of African descent to be inferior, so in that regards I would not call her racist, but I do think that lumping all black men together and refusing to see them is an act of racial discrimination. This form of racial discrimination is quite common in the sex industry, and like I said, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (no pun intended)

I think this is particularly applicable to TS providers who are asked to top.  I'm not sure about the rest of you guys, but I sure don't get aroused for anyone and everyone at the drop of a hat.  And I don't think even $$$ AND Viagra would change that.

We are all attracted to different attributes.  As hobbyists, we get to see the pics and read reviews before making a decision.  Providers do not.  This is one reason why some providers are very distant or mechanical or YMMV.  I applaud someone for being honest if it just isn't going to work out.  I would much rather spend time with someone I can have some kind of chemistry with.

I think you are making a big assumption that you know her reasoning.

I, for one, do not find myself attracted to Middle Eastern women.  Does that make me racist?

I can understand your consternation regarding Zeira refusing to see you by virtue of your blackness.  On the same hand you should re-read your own post and question whether or not you philosophically can disagree with her actions.  She labels all black men undatable... "she doesn't see black men." , implying  black men have 'bad reputations'.  You then aim your frustration and indict all TS's by saying "Yet another reason why TS's seem to have bad reputations, unfortunately."  It's the same system of reasoning deriving the same type of conclusions.

I Have seen my share of good types of all races, and all types of bad races. (white/black/asian? Does not matter to me.)
But this being said for me, I can not take a huge well you know, and I opt out if I know the gentleman is well endowed. I would rather be called a raceist than to be hurt trying to accomidate some thing I shouldn't, just to please the client. It is my body, and just because I am a service provider, I do not have to put my self at risk of injury.
Besides! I have been ripped off by more white men then black, so.........

Cheers!

Zeira is scheduled to soon visit my area.  Perhaps for adequate compensation she'll accompany me to a viewing of the movie, "Crash".  I'm sure when she sees the scene where Ludacris frees the southeast Asian slaves shackled in the stolen van her stance on dating black men will change.  Problem is I myself am mulatto.  Will she let me step foot through the hotel room door?  I can always claim to be Jewish if she hesitates.  That will explain the 'fro.  Hopefully she will not notice that I am uncircumcised though.  At that point relations may turn sour.

I didn't read all the posts on this thread.  I guess I should.  But I'm white and there's no way I would ever go down on a red-haired fair-skinned white girl.  Asian,  Latin,  caucasion brunette, 50% of the caucasion blondes,  you betcha.  But not a pale Polish chick or Russian.  A mulatto girl for sure.  They're beautiful. But not an Arab girl or Indian or Pakistani.  And no gals over 5'9".  Not that I have my easy pick of anything I want or can reject anybody because they're lining up for me.  Not my point.  I'm just listing what type strikes me physically and what doesn't.  And it's exactly the same with transsexual girls and feminine pretty males.
My point is it might not be racist.  Like I say,  there's no way I would ever eat a red-haired caucasion girl's snatch or an Arab girl's snatch.  But give me a pretty Asian girl - or tigirl - and I'll eat her asshole and pussy and tranny asian dick for two hours straight.
I'm just saying it might not be a race issue.  A tranny that doesn't want to suck a certain color dick has nothing to do with racial equality and justice.  Steady folks.

This has nothing to do with cock size.. Per her post on another site and in her own words...... She doesn't date black men because one ripped her off and she also stated black men smell peculiar.... so she has (with prejudice) sterotyped all black men.

Nothing,.... and I mean NOTHING can justify that mentality.

No, she called me minutes after my post went up. She seemed nice and all, but stated that she was scared of black men .  She had her reasons, just like all people have reasons for racially based fears.

p.s. Please don't call me, anybody, unless it is to set up an appointment. I run a business and I am only stating my opinions in regards to my business practice.

I have seen Zeira so I have some "baggage" in her favor.  Zeira is a wonderful person and provider in my view so I think the reviews are real.  My impression is that she is also fairly new to the U.S. and may not be accustomed to the diversity of our society.

In my humble opinion her decision not to see black men is a form of bias (or prejudice) on her part and is unfortunate.  Since I am not black I can't even begin to understand how frustrating that must be to someone who would like to see her.  On the other hand, the provider "business" is an intensly personal one and I believe that providers have an absolute right to not see anyone they choose not to see for ANY reason they choose (even if I don't agree with the reasons they choose not to do so).  I believe she is honest about her preference and expresses it politely.

We all have flaws but need to judged on the whole package.  This is a tough subject but I am impressed that people have had a good civilized discussion.

A provider has a right to see or not see whomever she likes. She owes it to no one to see everyone that wants to see her. Her body, her rules and yes its that simple.

Maybe someday when providers all over the country explicitly post ads saying that they do not see caucasian men because they are likely to be rip-offs, I will think it has nothing to do with racism. Until then I will see this in line with all the other historical discrimination in America which has primarily been aimed at black people.

I wonder as an aside... is it legal to post no blacks allowed signs in Nevada brothels?

I believe in a womens right to choose who she fucks, what she does with her body etc... and I am not saying anybody should have sex with someone they do not want to.

But for once, can people just say
Hey, it totally sucks that so many providers diss decent men because of the color of their skin.  Because that's all I was trying to say, I'm sorry if I ruffled anybody's feathers.

I wasn't going to post anything on this but I decided to after reading what she actually said. Being a black man myself, and reading some of the responses, I'm kind of offended. Yes, it has happend before to me as well, even though I believe it's their loss when they do discriminate (yes it is discrimination). Until it happens to you, getting a door slammed in your face, literally, you have no idea how hurtful and confusing that is.
It's a complicated problem and one that can't be simplified with "a girl has her preference."
That being said, all this man wants is someone to say "that's f'd up" he's not going to die because of it nor was he physically harmed. That's not the point, the point is it was wrong. There's no going to the better business bureau for this. Sure it's her body, we know that, it's still not right. There's plenty of other fish in the sea.

I'm sure you are a fine, decent man.  OK, it's F-ed up.  But so are a lot of things in life.  And BTW, I would guess that many TS's have faced just as much discrimination as you.  Unfortunately, due to bad experiences she has had, she doesn't want to see a certain kind of person.  While that may be hurtful to you, it is understandable.  For example, if someone keeps getting mugged walking down a dark ally, they probably will not walk down any dark allys anymore.  Even though that's not right, they should be able to.  To keep doing something that may put you in danger doesn't make any sense.  That's been her experience.  Maybe that hasn't been others.

You guys get to go to EROS, look at pics and choose who you think you like best.  I guess that's a form of racism otherwise, you wouldn't need pics to choose from.  Or they shouldn't list the ethnicity on reviews and ads either... because that would promote racism.

Can't someone have a preference for a certain type of person without being a racist?   I think so.

I find it ironic but I will comment anyways. Prejudiced is to "pre judge". In determining that a provider has decided she will not date black men she is being prejudged herself. Whatever her reasons are, they are hers to make. So she says black men smell. So she says she has been ripped off etc. Ok in her eyes she had rather not deal with what has caused her problems and discomfort. I know women who do not like providing for Indian males (India variety, not native American). Reason? Something about how they oil their skin up and the smell of curry overwhelms . I dunno , I dont date Indian men, so I cant comment. Of course being Jewish I`m told how its all about "Jewing" someone down on their prices. Is that prejuduced also? Does that fall into a stereotyping category?  I find it ironic that anyone else can try getting a provider to come down off their outlandish prices but if I do it, it`s because I`m a "Jew". Go figure. All said and done, stereotypes exist. WHY? Because perceptions become a reality in peoples minds. All Jews are greedy moneygrubbers! All black men are violent and unsanitary! All TSs are moody and hormonic! All Asian men have tiny members! All gays act like 'Will'! Where does it all end? It ends when people decide to stop prejudging stereotypes and stereotypes stop perpetuating the cliches they are stuck with. Speaking as a Jew that means I`m not to negotiate prices with a chosen provider. My advice? Dont let an idiot steal your joy. Find another provider who wil rock your wolrd as you like. There are way too many awesome TS`s to worry about the few who refuse to give you the time of day. Their loss, not your own.

I read this entire stream of responses with amusement and wonder.  So many hurt feelings. Horizononfire and TS Star made the most sense. I would prefer being turned down by phone, than to make a trip, pay my money and have a bad time because the provider wasn't into me. I went out with a knockout in NYC who was a blah date. She had a preference for twinks and that left me out of the equation. If she had given me an age range of 18-29 before I made the appt it would have saved me both time and money. A lot of guys prefer providers with large, functional cocks and won't see anyone else. Are they discriminating? Of course they are. We "all" have our preferences as to what turns us on and what turns us off. Providers have the right (and the responsibility) to express those preferences before I make an appointment.

Why should someone have to say "thats f'd up"? So he can feel better about the situation or himself? If someone needs someone to say this to them then they have a lot more important issues to ponder. He knows that its f'd up and no one needs to reassure him of this because it is common sense. That being said I still say its the providers body so that automatically gives her the right to choose whom she has as clients and not owe an explanation to anyone at all about her choices. If she says she wont see black or Spanish or Oriental clients then so be it, that is her right.

Exactly what I'm saying. I wasn't posting a change the world post, let's all sing together. No, all I'm saying is it's not right, it's ignorant and again, there are plenty of ts's that will see a black man. It is a good thing that she told him over the phone instead of letting him get all worked up, showered and shaved, get over there and then tell him.

The thing about being robbed or abused because black men are dangerous is a crock. I'll just carry this thing called "reality" around with me and it says escorting is a dangerous profession. I don't care how you want to look at it, it's dangerous, any client a girl doesn't know could potentially be dangerous, any client a girl does know could be potentially dangerous. I'm done with this thread, but that needs to be said. Black men smell funny, I've been robbed by black men, etc, etc. Very weak, ignorant reasons for anything. There's 12 million black people in this country, you don't expect them to be all good/bad do you?
If someone posted that she refused to see them because they were too fat, too hairy, too skinny. I'd still say it was ignorant.
