For providers who host out of hotels, part of it is discretion -- not just from potential law enforcement, but also from stalker-types who might be trying to find out more information about the provider than she cares to admit.
I usually am comfortable talking about neighborhoods and locations. For instance, in DC, there's a dozen or so hotels in "Crystal City". Even giving a cross street or Metro stop can give a client a good idea where I'm planning on being, but with giving me enough leeway for safety. I feel that mentioning general information and neighborhoods are fine, but confirming specific information is dangerous. For regulars, I'm much more-comfortable discussing specific plans and hotels.
Question for all. Is it wrong for me to ask a provider which hotel she is staying at? The reason I am asking is because I do a lot of traveling for work and if I can stay at the same hotel, it would make things much easier to visit the provider. Especially if I decide to have a couple of drinks at the hotel bar to shake off some butterflies. I have asked in the past, but they seem to get irritated and won't tell me. Please advise.
The provider will give you directions when it's time for your appointment. While it would be convenient to be in the same hotel, real life doesn't work that way.

We generally don't provide people with exact location of where we will have our incall because of shady people. I've had instances in the past where something has gone sideways and I've had to change rooms, or entire hotels because of it. So I no longer give out exact location until the person is about to start their travel to me--usually an hour or two for notice. However, of its someone I've seen before, none of that usually applies. I do usually give cross streets or neighborhood to help with planning.
I would reject a client immediately if I know he's staying at the same hotel as I am! Last thing I need is a stalker next to my room to see how many Johns come into my room to fuck me! NO THANKS. PRIVACY PLEASE.
