from what ive learned from others; reason some have different names is because when they post in different site such as eros, backpage, CL etc. having different names allows them to tally in the calls of which specific ad a guy came across and called about.

for example: callers who call "Topaz" (are eros customers calling from Nyc) "Vera" (are backpage customers calling from New jersey area)
