Need info because I am flying back into the States for about three and half weeks. Not sure if I should go back to my regulars in LA and NYC, or venture out into unchartered areas. Questions: (1.)What's going on with Craigslist. IT seems to be a regular minefield; with all the bad mouthing going back and forth and police stings, I wonder if it should be avoided like the plague. Most of the hot TS on there haven't been reviewed, any reason why. There is an interesting number from Koreatown on the LA branch and Alexia in NYC. Question (2.) Why aren't girls from realtgirls.com reviewed more often? Alexia on craigslist is Pamela from realtgirls. Also Aneika on realtgirls.com.  And there is a very well hung black girl in LA called Charmaine, also on realtgirls.com; I can't believe no one has seen her. Would love to make some big comparisons between her and Nefertiti. Would also like to see TS Dream, regardless of her long fingers. The reviews speak volumes about her size, then again. If I don't get a little info, I will go back to the same, same.

Help on the two questions above. I fly back tomorrow. Realtgirls.com is a free escort site devoted to girls on shemaleyum.com. If you are a member, I was before I left the States, you can see what the girls are packing. There are a couple of girls on craigslist that also have explicit photos that strike my interest, if they are also coordinated with a realtgirl ad, it really strokes my interest. Should I avoid craigslist, are people getting busted, scammed, etc.  Will check in again when I land in LAX tomorrow.

Just my two cents but I would avoid CL like the plague.  LE is pretty wise to it and there have been too mnay tales of scams and setups (e.g. in Philly).  You see an interesting post or two and then 2 hrs later its gone - sumthin's f'd up there.

Speaking as a provider who recently got busted from my Craigslist ad.  Yes, they are stinging both ways in a number of cities.

Too many skanky robs, jealous girls, spam scams, and mean men have just about ruined Craigs. I have reduced my advertising there.  The whole thing has turned into a hatefest in many places.  Sex is supposed to be FUN and relaxing.

BUT that doesn't mean there aren't quality girls advertising there - just that you need to check out the ads better than you might on pay sites like Eros.

What I notice is girls who only advertise on CL have more negative reports than girls who are on paid sites as well as CL.

There is way too much media publicity about sex on CL.  Sex sells and the media pressures the cops into doing stings so they can film it.  Who cares about the provider victims so long as the ratings are good.

The reason you see what appear to be good ads disappear off CL in a couple of hours is because jealous girls and guys with no lives flag ads off indiscriminately.

Hell, they even flag off "puppy for sale" ads because some animal rights group monitors the list.  I mean now there's a group who needs to be having more sex!

TER reviews - some girls don't want reviews as they can be used in court. Some are robs who had them removed and are listed under a new alias and phone.  In some cases you may be looking in the wrong city.

Thanks sixnotone and justatransgirl, sounds like I should forget about craigslist and avoid it like the plague, though the Koreatown girl has me fascinated. I am always cynical anyway of girls who don't post their face in their photos after a bad experience outside of Boston. As for RealTgirls.com, still haven't heard much, before I left for Brazil and then Asia, I did reviews of a few girls on realtgirls, Fantasy, Cherry, etc., from NYC. I agree that ‘realtgirls’ can be a good resource – an unusually high proportion of the profiles seem legit.  CL is a waste of time and even Eros has to be approached with much caution.  What I have noticed is that the ladies on realtgirls tend to use their shemaleyum (stage?) names which are often different that their usual escorting name (Eros, TER and SER).  This unfortunately confuses the issue unnecessarily and makes it more difficult to find the reviews and other 411 needed to check references.

I think you can often get an idea on the phone what someone is going to be like in person.

You are correct, there are certainly some very reputable advertisers on craigslist, yourself and Jessica included.  In his post above sixnotdone suggests avoiding it like the plague.  In a sense, I agree with you both, but have to side more with sixnotdone’s general point of view.  IMHO the vast majority of time spent wading through CL for leads and information would be better spent elsewhere.  Certainly not all, but nearly every, reputable advertiser I have ever found on CL also advertises somewhere else.  CL does have a very useful search function that can make visiting that site really productive if you know how to use it AND already have a specific search in mind.  I have on occasion learned or discovered a few interesting things on CL using this search function.

I am sorry if I offend anyone, and Jamie you are welcome to call me a snob if you like, but I find CL a bit too bourgeoisie.  I would recommend that no one ever meet anyone based solely on a CL advertisement.  As I am sure you know by now, I have developed an ad hoc and highly subjective ranking system based on my own interests and my research around the ISO/411 requests on this board.  I have on occasion lowered a rating based simply on the fact that someone had a CL advertisement.  Why?  Maybe you’ve had better luck with it but my understanding has been that a CL listing attracts all sorts of undesirable attention to the advertiser.  Generally I would prefer to meet someone who has put in the time and effort to find another way to develop their clientele.  BTW I am usually much more critical of GG CL advertisers than TS, because I realize that there are simply fewer viable venues available to TS.

I am not the only one (TSAE for example) who has lamented that the TS escort scene seems to contain more cynicism, disrespect and duplicity than GG escorting.  Again, IMHO the ‘erotic services’ category on CL just seems to attract the worst of these attributes.

In contrast I have been impressed by real-tgirls.com as a Gooby Productions site but don’t have all that much experience with it.  As I said before, I have recognized a lot of the photos as those of reputable providers, but have noted a poor correlation with names and, while there might appear to be some new/different leads there, some of the listings seem quite dated.  I can understand that there may be legitimate marketing reasons for the different names, particularly in connection with that site.  So long as other information checks out, such as contact information, then I could get more comfortable with it but unfortunately the different names just means researching someone with a listing on real-tgirls can often be problematic.

Hi, I absolutely agree with TS Tempted, about mostly everything you said in your comment about Craigs, etc.  I didn't want to say it quite as direct as you did, but yeah CL is just a hatefest anymore.

I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of dating on CL.  For one thing it's getting waaay to much media and LE attention.  Sex sells and nothing boosts TV ratings or LE budgets like a good story of "prostitution" on CL.

BTW do you know 25% of CL is owned by E-Bay?

But the thing is a lot of the business from CL comes from first time admirers who are on CL looking to rent an apt or something and get sidetracked into the erotic section. Then one thing leads to another.  Those guys often aren't aware of Eros, etc so if a provider doesn't have a presence on CL they lose an emerging market.

The thing is even some of the well knows robs on CL have  their admirers, which just goes to show there is someone for everyone and we should all  just enjoy each other and our sensuality!

one solid use of CL is that sometimes girls who advertise on eros at 250-300 put up an ad on CL at 150-200. i have taken advantage of this on more than one occasion - but be certain they are the same girl, same picture and same phone number! though they may change their names to i.d. which ad you're calling about...
