December 17th is International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers (In Chicago its the 16th), organized by SWOP (Sex Workers Outreach Project).

The current laws surrounding prostitution, define violent crimes such as kidnap, rape, blackmail, and even murder as an OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD of sex workers. Every human, regardless of who they are and what they do, deserve a right to be safe from violence! While the United States bovernment is spending tons of TAXPAYERS DOLLARS to eliminate prostitution, the criminalization that results ferom the application of these lasw, prevents sex workers from having any social protection.
This pisses me off!

Take a second to Google; 'SWOP (Sex Workers Outreach Project)', or 'International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers' to find out where the rally is in your city/state. Come join us as we rally for the rights of sex workers at the international day to end violence against sex workers.

Email me for information on Chicago's rally, which is on the 16th.

Sincerely,

- Jas
