I think the experience of the first comment can be typical. There are only so many of us and only so many into us. That being said I think its very common for trans providers to travel to keep their image fresh. I've been a provider in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for about 8 months and already it seems like the new hobbyists are only coming from out of town. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but if I can book a few appointments in a city of reasonable distance I would have no problem making a trip to visit. I know I didn't offer any new boards but maybe you'll be able to expand the variety of providers by using the same boards in neighboring cities.
Hello everyone. I am looking for a good TS ad board to do some research. I'm in Chicago if that makes a difference. I've looked on TER and seem some nice folks but I also like looking at ad boards. What are some boards you recommend?
In the SF Bay area, I mainly only look at Backpage and occasionally eros-guide and very low hit ratio craigs.
Backpage seems to have the up-to-date info on what's happening in my area on any given day, so it's my main goto.
There are a lot of bullshit sites - they typically show up on phone number searches - not worth mentioning here.
There are a couple other sites - don't know if they're mentionable here, but the level of TS activity on them is so low that they're only worth going to for "who am I missing?" type searches.
I've kind of developed an ATF, "Old Faithful", but still shop a lot with cravings for variety.
Love to hear if I'm missing any major resource.

The first responder hit the nail on the head. BP is the best, Eros has a lot of fakes and numerous girls who ad for $$$ on Eros but $$ on BP. CL is worth watching if you like young and fresh girls who don't know better. I've gotten lucky a few times on CL but most ads are fakes. BP definitely has the best hit ratio and the most ads. I know some of the younger girls also post on Reddit or Snapchat or other "non" pro sites and get appointments that way. I'm too old to be bothered with that stuff though, so I'll stick to traditional ad websites. It's worth noting that Chicago has some great clubs to meet TS girls. I've been to a few and most of the girls are the same girls who post on BP but there are some legitimate part time or non pro girls who can be had at the clubs.
I recently posted another but similar thread - asking providers where they run ads. TER no longer publishes reviews on girls that only advertise on BP, and to my knowledge - they have never published reviews on girls that only advertise on CL. The girls I'm interested in seeing, the young fresh (and affordable) faces, are usually not advertising on Eros. My local TS dive bar is a joke. I went on the "prime" night and it was a ghost town. I don't have time for snapchat, twitter, or tumblr. It's hard enough to find good accurate intel already...and I think this boycott by TER on the BP ladies is going to dry out the (review) desert even further.
