How has the current economy affected your hobbying?


17% Very little or not at all. I have made very few or no changes.
50% I've had to significantly cut back.
25% I've slowed down some, but not too much.
5% I am hobbying now more than ever!

For me, I.......

1.  Initially had to make major changes and cut way way back.

2.  Continued to Hobby but had to eliminate top shelf until things turn around.  As much as I enjoy premium, fine wine, I had to drink vino out of the box in 09.

3. Became creative.....I have actually written checks to 3 providers in my time.  One of them was post dated.  In addition to writing checks, I've instructed girls who are getting started on how to create and post ads on CL etc in exchange for a little fun.  And finally, I traded my old laptop once for 3 sessions.

I sure finished 2009 strong though. I've met a couple of local GG's here lately I like and have reasonable rates. Only willing to see the well reviewed TS ASPs after the last delisted one came to town. Grrrr! Not a lot of ladies are visiting my city right now.
I used to visit other cities for dates though, and I think I will be cutting that out for this year. The money and also whatever new airport drama 2010 has in store for travel.

I started the year making a few bad decisions.  After one amazingly bad date I became more informed and reasoned about the providers i would date. I have an ATF,actually two, that get most of my time. But i did get a chance to meet the legendary India Fox(amazing time) and Ms.Nataila Coxxx (wonderful top). So a few splurges that were very worth it and made the year a good one.
I have a few top providers i am looking to meet in the upcoming year, so I have been saving up.
Philly had a rather good year for visiting ladies and i hope that that trend will continue, as the local scene was very hit or miss.
Thanks Dog and Cat, as well as everyone else on the board for sharing all the information,opinions and advice. I will dish on the Philly scene whenever i can give an honest opinion.

i've stuck to my regular providers while  bargain hunting in looking for new providers in '09. Won some, and loss some. Discovered a couple of new,legit newbies and in-town visitors, yet i've had a couple of disappointments and sure ripoffs.it's still been a constant battle to gamble and weed out the good ones vs the ripoffs.

Have had to cut all the way back in 2009, so I'm going to be extremely choosy in 2010 (quality not quantity).  It's difficult to find a gal who will trade for raccoon or rabbit pelts!

The providers I've talked to all admit business is down significantly.

Yea, this one girl I know said.."If things don't pick up, I'm going to have to go get a job".    Thought that was funny.
