in Chicago?  I'm not very TS experienced and wondering what to expect if I go.

Very "seedy" establishment, no quality girl ever goes there...best thing is to visit a highly reviewed TS and save the time.

Rachel is pushing her over-priced service, take her comments with major grain of salt.

El Gato is a hole-in-the-wall type bar in a good middle class neighborhood. All levels of girls go there from the beginner to experienced TG/TS to the cross-dressers, you'll see girls from Chicago eros (and you can negotiate a better rate).

Recommended stop for any TS admirer.

Also seen very nice things here. Like all TS scenes I've visited (LV Lounge, Peanuts, etc), this place is much better later and on weekends.

That said, saw a VERY pretty young thing or two last time I was in town...a rainy Tuesday!
