I never could figure out exactly what they were referring to.  Yet is is common enough that it must have some standard meaning.   What does it mean to play games in relationships?

I don't think it refers to Xbox.

...for being "evasive or deceptive.  To mess around with someone or someone's feelings".  In other words, let's not waste each other's time, and cut to the chase.  Say what's on your mind.  Be serious.  

Actually, on second thought this song has very little to do with P4P, but it is a great one hit wonder from the day.
