Here's an odd one, which I'll put here, even though it is political:

There's a local SB who seemed very interested, but viewed my private pics, then ignored me. Another local SD saw her, and learned she is on the brink of going escort, so said "Can I recommend a friend?", meaning me. He did, I contacted the lady again, and she responded:

 "I haven't' responded to you because I am a Trump supporter."

And that's because my profile states, among other things, that I'm a politics junky and "If you're a Trump supporter, don't bother to respond."

My response to her was:

"We should probably leave at that then. Election consequences...probably the first of many."

But then, I thought it over a bit more and sent this,

"I thought I would add a couple of things:  

(1) I respect you for having the courage of your convictions, which you are sticking to, even at financial cost.

(2) Yah, I put that in my profile when I was pretty pissed off (still am), but maybe I should rethink it. No, not to see you (or any specific lady), but it does get my attention that we are such a divided country that we can't even conclude a p4p arrangement because of political differences. That's not good.

So, I don't expect either of us will have any luck changing opinions of the other, but you did make me think."

I'm NOT trying to provoke a political discussion (PLEASE don't go there!), I just thought this was interesting. And I have to admit, if the lady in question was somewhat hotter, I think the little head, which doesn't do politics, would clearly rule the day. So much for the courage of MY convictions

whether it's politics, religion, racial, D&A, or sexual.

I think this is even more important in the SD/SB world than hobbyist/provider world.

Who wants to spend "quality" time with someone who's views you find abhorrent

In my initial profile, I had a statement to this effect, "if you are incessantly into discussing religion and/or politics, we would probably not get along". I was perhaps trying to be a bit too cute by throwing a provocative statement in there without even having to tip my hand. However and in retrospect I revised and completely eliminated that statement from my profile later on.

More than politics, I loathe to waste my precious time with religious zealots! I even avoid those who are extremely "spiritual" which could mean religious lite specially if they're into spending several hours a day inside a yoga studio. Believe me, I used to be heavily into yoga (for the p*ssy of course) before I eff'ef up my back in a major way trying to emulate a 20 something instructor when I was twice his/her age! It is not that easy to pull yoga chicks as a fellow practitioner unless you are prepared to live that lifestyle 24/7 and lap up all their sh*t, but if you are a young and hetro yoga instructor, oh man! Anything goes as those yoga chicks totally are in trans mode with such instructors who incidentally are often too wrapped up in their practice crap to exploit the p*ssies which throw themselves at these instructors on pro bono basis! What a waste!

I have to agree with Princess on this one.  Your there for the pussy not to make political statements.  Now if they or you want to bring it up in your texts or other discussions that fine, but give the little head a chance to make you think about whether its really that important. ha h

I hate talking politics or religions at all ever with anyone.  But ... I'm also never the one to bring it up....  If you find yourself on a date with someone you are trying to fuck and they want to talk about Clinton, Trump, Buddha or Jesus... just pay the bill and leave.  And take that off your profile...  the pig won anyway.

I've had unsolicited PMs from SB scolding me for being for free markets.

It will be a truly cold day in hell when I let politics or religion get in the way of a nice piece of ass. If the SB is hot, I don't really care what she says and I always tell mine I am very in the middle on politics - but politics is not what we are here for - right guys?? There are all kind of women and men for that matter, who love to talk politics, but not so much with my SB. Would rather have her tell me how many times she wants to come during our next visit, or how she enjoys having my cock in her mouth...you all know the stuff you really want to hear from your ladies.

I am also a bit different than most here in that I take this for what it is, and enjoy a good time when a I can with a hot lady that I would probably not find elsewhere - don't have the time or energy. I also have no illusions that if I take away the $$ that the SB's will still be around. By the way, I enjoy fucking Trumps supporters - just like I would Hillary supporters - which probably encompasses more women anyway!

A few months ago I dated a 36yo TER woman on the West Coast on my sailboat. We had dated several times before in LA, but she disappeared due to health problems, so I was happy when she emailed me and became available again. She was going to be in the Valley when I was on the boat which worked out great. She checked out of her hotel after those "work days" were done and drove to my marina. We went out sailing, then had fantastic sex, during which she had a huge hands free O from Greek which she said had never happened to her before. But that's beside the point, you should remove the "If you're a Trump supporter, don't bother to respond." from your profile. Most meets shouldn't into a political debate which I have a feeling your date would have become one,

I took that out of my profile. Doesn't change any of my opinions, but it is a question of the appropriate venue.
