Is it true that Viagra makes it more difficult for a man to finish? I never noticed it before, but last time I had trouble finishing and wanted to know if this was a myth.

It truly depends on the man and the circumstances. Viagra is intended to facilitate bloodflow to the penis for erection - nothing more, nothing less. If you are having "trouble finishing," ask yourself what was different during the incident. Was it a different woman? Different position? Different surroundings?

There are a zillion reasons for why men can have problems orgasming. In addition, Viagra affects people differently - some see blue flashes, others have hard-ons for hours - since you were the only one there, you may be the only one who can determine what caused the problem.

My suggestion would be to try Viagra a few more times during circumstances and in an environment that would be rather familiar to you - and that may go for the provider as well. A new face and a new body can cause all sorts of apprehensions. If all is totally stress-free and you still are having problems, then maybe Viagra does affect you in some way. As to how, only repeated exposure will tell.

For some men, Viagra can make finishing difficult. Sometimes, it simply means your dosage is a little higher than it needs to be. If you had trouble finishing with viagra, try cutting the dose back slightly. Sometimes that can help.

Sometimes though, there is nothing that can be done about it. I have a regular who basically has two choices. Without viagra he cannot get an erection, but he's usually good for two cups. With viagra, even at a fairly low dose, he can get a great erection that will last as long as he likes, but he simply cannot finish no matter how hard we try. So when he comes to see me, he always decides which is more important to him that day - intercourse with no happy ending, or a long session of hand/oral and a couple of happy endings, but no intercourse. So when I see him, I always ask him if he took his vitamins today, and we go from there.
