Hi everyone. I have been on TER for a few years now and read the board posts quite often I have gained a wealth of information form many of the posts (thank you). I see most of the posts on this board are about SA, so I hope its ok to ask here. Do any of you have any information where to look for talent in Cancun? Heading there next month and would appreciate any help you could lend. A fellow Mong
I was wary of the pro scene. Try SA. I had good luck. A few model types are $1,000 for a full day, but that was beyond my budget. Another was $300 per hour or $1,200 for overnight. I found a couple of good ones at $200-$300 per date.
A couple of others looked pretty good, but spoke very limited English. My Spanish is spotty, so I passed on them.
True, but some SBs had very poor English, which reduced the pool for me. I agree that most women down there speak some English, but not everyone does. Your chances increase if you speak the language.
Maybe it's because I have spent so much time with GF's who barely speak English (Asian and Latinas) combined with the fact I spent a LOT of time in Latin America when I could barely string two words together in Spanish and I did just fine, I suppose I think everyone else can do it to.
Cancun really is "Mexico lite" but I suppose that's a good thing as it's one of only a few places in Mexico safe enough for gringos to travel to. Or even non gringos for that matter.
In the Hotel Zone, all of the merchants speak English. "Mexico Lite" is a good way to put it.
I was able to communicate with most of the SBs. There were two who looked appealing where we mutually agreed that there was too much of a language barrier. Other than those two, their English was pretty good and they appreciated my feeble attempts at Spanish. I agree--with the majority of SBs there, knowing any Spanish is unnecessary. The exchange rate is about 20.5 to 1. Most of the locals are thrilled to have U.S. dollars.
It can be quite challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it can be quite fun. PLUS there is the added benefit of not having to listen to "girl talk" Come on, let's face it, "girl talk" sounds the same in every language. As my Spanish has improved, I often find myself pretending not to understand stuff my chicas tell me when the truth is, I actually understood every word they said. lol
