The Erotic Highway

The most common disconnect I see..

..between a SB's pics and her text is when she says clearly "platonic only" or "nothing sexual" but posts incredibly sexy pictures.  It's so common and totally perplexing and weird.

Nothing too deep here... we've seen enough "heavy" discussions in  the last few days...

So I was just browsing new profiles in my area and came across a few with pics that don't support the "theme" of the profile.

Example: The POT is upfront that she wants financial help for bills, school costs, basics, etc.  Yet her pics include her having dinner/drinks at top-shelf restaurants, in a bikini on a luxury cruise ship (Celebrity, while Carnival is the "cheap" cruise line), holding a designer bag (LV ~ $5k) and other, more typical selfies for a 22 year old college student.  I reversed-imaged checked each one with no hits (so probably not stolen IG pics).

She is not really projecting the "typical college girl" trying to make ends meet without parent support.  I don't see any sort of yellow or red flag language, yet the pics paint a different story than her text.  I shall not be contacting her.

Thoughts?  Is this just a young person not understanding how to market herself? Or is she trying to project to a POT SD that she is capable of inclusion in the "luxury life" they think we all enjoy? Or does she just like the way her ass looks in that white string bikini (which looks great, BTW!)? Or is this just a possible GSP or ROB who is casting a wide net in hopes of hooking a Wale?

I think the message is she is seeking an upscale gentleman, someone who would shower her with similar riches.
.
It's an open question under what circumstances those photos originated.
.
In some cases it wouldn't be too hard to imagine she blew a wad of money on fancy vacations ... which is probably why her spending decisions have left her essentially fucking for money.

This one sits right at the middle. A lot of pot’s use this to project the lifestyle they want. The whole jump on my jet and let’s have lunch in Paris concept which is generally the whole gps red flag. For a number of others, they are trying to project that they would fit in to that lifestyle. The whole I know your upscale and I can fit in to your lifestyle and believe that’s how they attract a really solid SD. Others just want to have really cool selfies that they are living the life. I was at dinner with a business partner last week and we were coming out of a pretty high end restaurant which is right next to a club. I drive a pretty nice car and the valet had pulled my car up and just had it sitting there with the top down. A couple of very attractive girls were walking from the parking lot a block down heading to the club. They asked if that was my car which I replied yes. They immediately got very giddy and asked if they could take a bunch of selfies around the car with the restaurant in the background. Guessing there is about 10 shots on some social media platform making it look like they are living the life coming out of one of the nicest restaurants in town jumping in their Benz. Reality was they happen to be in the right place at the right time and snapped a few selfies. I generally don’t assume anything by the profile pics and will instead start to engage. It’s usually they a few lines of conversation where you can quickly weed out the ones you aren’t looking for.

Either:
1. A total scammer (catfisher, spammer, pic and data phisher, pre meet $ ask), could even be a guy like one of you TERer with Fake SA and SB accounts lol;
2. Girl who, like a recent post said, ascribes to the tiktok influencer who counsels how to extract dollars from lonely older men. Somehow this leads to, I agree with OP, a mixed marketing messaging of “hey, I could fit into your life and be on your arm” but “I am desperate for financial help now so if that turns you on, I’m your ho”.

We all get a ton of #1 screened I’m sure. It only takes a couple of messages or texts to draw those out.

The #2 is more complicated. I have two trying to work me by text. They quickly introduced a sob story about various needs including being young single mom, not having a working car, one even claims she needs breast implant to gain confidence lol... But their pictures are of playing golf, being on a yacht, working as a professional. I have confirmed they are both women by phone call or unpaid M&G. The unifying theme is their backgrounds don’t jive with their sob stories when you push them for details over time.

I’ll grant there may be the odd amateur real hard luck case out there who somehow thought she should hire a photographer to create  a portfolio of “dream life” shots, but it seems very uncommon.
