I have had this "problem" before.  Actually, a couple of times.

LG is absolutely correct; you do not want to "cure" this problem by asking her to change.  I have found the application of a muffling device to be most effective.  Yes, a pillow can do the trick, but it reeks of suffocation implications.  You could try the ball gag, but sound will still be emitted - at a higher pitch - and many women don't find the S&M image to be erotic.  My solution?  A stuffed bear.

You can laugh, but it worked in each case.  She thought it was cute and it stiffled most of the noise.  As a bonus one lady reported that it seemed to focus her energies and actually heightened her orgasm.  Made me look better and the neighbors stopped threatening to call the cops!  BTW you may have to replace the bear after it is bitten into too many times.
