It's often hard to tell if a POT has blocked you or has simply deleted her profile.

 
But yes, this happens to me all the time.

I've had similar experiences of getting blocked soon after initial contact.  As Gambler said, you can't tell if they blocked you or deleted/deactivated their profile. But recently I got yet another in a loooong stream of requests for an online arrangement. As you know, I think that's a contradiction in terms and should be banned by SA Admin as it was in pre-pandemic days.  But I digress.  This one SB told me she would only consider meeting irl after at least 2 weeks of online.  She wanted $150 for nudes and Facetime.  I very politely declined and told her I only provide a$$istance the old fashioned way, in person and in cash.  Not only did she block me, but she first sent me a parting message that said "Bye loser!"  That sort of gratuitous meanness is so uncalled for!  I shouldn't give a shit but I do.  Guess I'm very thin skinned.  But it reminded me of a conversation I had with a lovely SB who recently returned into my town and my life.  She wants to be more active on SA, but says that 80% of the men she interacts with are mean jerks and she just doesn't want to expose herself to that shit. For example, one guy said that if she doesn't reply instantly she shouldn't be on the site.  She has a life, as in a job and a home life. Yet they expect her to basically kiss their feet simply because they are offering money.  The level of unkindness she has experienced and was reporting to me really shocked and surprised me.  As many have said here before, if you are simply a polite gentleman you're way ahead of the majority of men on SA.  But it sucks that you have to sift through so much dirt to find one gem, for both the SDs and the SBs evidently.
