Selfie/ID verification

I had a message in my inbox today from an insanely hot model-quality 28 year old blond girl.  Said she and her girlfriend were looking for a mutually beneficial arrangement for tonight and said if I were interested to send my number to continue via text.

So many red flags.

Then I saw the profile was selfie and ID verified.

I am still 99.9% sure it's fake and/or a scam, but I always put a little more stock in the selfie and ID verification.  I guess it's not very useful at all perhaps?

Here is the reality of my experiences with this.

1. Almost always they are flakes.  Maybe one girl will be available.  But they are not really going to fuck a random dude.
2. Allowance expectation is ridiculous.
3. They really just want a guy to take them out to dinner and buy them drinks.  With no real chance of sex.
4. They are nowhere near as hot in person as they are in the pics.

Follow the typical rules.
1. Verify their expectations and yours.  If they are not committed to BCD time cut and run.
2. Do a quick video call with both of them.  Make sure they are as hot in person.  If they refuse to show below the neck, you know they are fat.
3. Do not pay allowance before.  Always pay at the end of the night.  Always.
4. Do not take them to an expensive restaurant or club.  They just want you to pay for their party.

Duo's wanting to meet asap is always a red flag.   But flags can change color if / when other items line up.

At its core, selfie verification only proves that the person in the pics looks a lot like the person who is in front of the web cam used to "verify."  But that person could be anywhere on the planet, using a VPN to make her location look local to you.

Having you send your number is a yellow flag. But you can mitigate that risk by sending a burner number of course.  Assuming "she" replies you can then evaluate her number and see if it makes sense (country code, area code, etc.).

I assume you did a reverse image search on her pics. So you can add the search results to the evaluation process.

Finally, assuming you haven't already disqualified her (or them, I suppose), you can propose a FaceTime, WhatsApp, or even Snap or Telegram video chat.

Of course, you may have already decided it wasn't worth your time to try to "prove" she's not a scammer.  Reasonable decision.

Can't wait to hear what happened...

Seems like last minute date invitations are always a scam.  So what I'd do is tell them that my schedule makes last minute plans impossible.  I need to plan my activities about a week in advance.  Would next Wednesday (or whenever) be ok? And if she says yes, I'd say great, meantime, let's meet for coffee one day soon so we can see if we both like the vibe.  If she finds some excuse to decline it's still most likely a scam.
