Yeast infection? Can you explain what this is, how ladies get it and why it can be difficult to get rid of. I've been hobbying for about 10yrs and have only had a handful of bad experiences but when I was at the AVN's I had a date with a well known PS and well I was almost floored by the 'smell' it was to say the least a show stopper with lots of excuses and handshakes before leaving. I wanted my money back but decided to just move on and forget it. She promised a free session next time but the whole experience really, well - grossed me out.

Since I prefer textbook answers to such questions, I have attached a very useful link. Yes, there can be an "icky" smell, but then it may not be yeast infection, it can be bacterial vaginosis, or heaven help us, trichomonas vaginalis - a bona fide STD. It can also get very painful for women to have sex during a yeast infection, as the vaginal area itches LIKE MAD.

All I can say is that it's not a hygiene issue per se, but an issue of symptomatic fungal overgrowth, caused by a myriad of triggers. Unfortunately, some women, despite all the acidophilus, yogurt douches, anti-yeast meds, etc. seem very prone to getting them. And of course, with all the butt-tight underwear and skinny jeans of the last 50 years, the incidence of yeast infections has increased massively.

My vote is for ladies who live along the hotter latitudes to stop wearing those tight drainpipes and go for biiig, flouncy skirts instead. And no panties! Constant air flow down there, nothing that cuts or binds or traps that evil fungus. Voilá, instant yeastbegone! Now I'm sure you lads wouldn't mind? Or?

Thanks for the response. Whether it was a bona fide yeast infection or an STD I didn't stick the little fellow in so I got that going for me. The whole situation could of been avoided with a cancellation phone call on her part or just taking care of the problem. Oh by the way guys I'm not going to tell you who it is so you can stop private messaging me. I can't ruin the ladies lively-hood, she's aware of her problem and I'm sure she is fixing it.
