I appreciate your knowledgeable and candid discussion on this board. As a newbie about to "pop his cherry" so-to-speak I was especially interested in your persepctive on 8/23/06 ref "addicts" vice hobbyists just trying to "ese the pain" (I'm paraphrasing in the latter!). I  hope I fall in the less obsessed category but really don't know at this point. All I really know is I'm more excited and a little giddier (old word) than I ought to be, I think.
