Everyone is an individual with an individual sex drive and arousal threshold. My recommendation is to abstain from viewing porn for several days prior to engaging with a "live" female - if libido, erectile or orgasmic function are issues.

If not, then some men can get extremely excited, as porn truly gets their imagination going.  You'll have to experiment to find out in which category you belong.

I'm mid 50s and, personally, I find it helpful to start 'getting ready' at least a day in advance of an appointment by watching some porn and stimulating myself almost to completion several times. I seem to get a stronger erection and it significantly increases the chance that I'll get a second cup if I've only scheduled an hour or so.

As always, eating well and making sure I'm hydrated make a big difference, too.
