Many of us here have noticed and commented on what appears to be a widespread degradation in the sugar bowl.  SA seems populated by so many more unworthy profiles: scammers, GPS, content sellers, online onlies, geographically remote,etc.  Especially in the smaller markets where there's never been a huge abundance of SBs, even in the best of times, it's become exceedingly difficult to find any who actually want what we here would recognize as a worthwhile arrangement.

Jeez sweet, what you want to kill off the competition (other elderly men, not in the best of health) by subjecting them to young nubile ladies that are just carriers of COVID? LOL Of course they allowed online only and the Only Fans crowd.  They needed to keep their income!  LOL

Or at least become a user-selected filter.  

Ashley Madison is a complete sausage fest and it remains in business, so I am not as convinced SA will turn around.  It is more important for them to have the appearance of a wide selection of women.  Whether any hook ups occur has a lot less impact on subscriptions.  Ashley Madison runs robots to fool guys into thinking there are any women.  SA can allow scammers, online only, etc, because it increases the number of apparent available women.  

What, you mean they're motivated by money???  Who knew!

I hope you're right and things do change organically. As to whether we'll be around to see it, my personal plan is to live forever.  So far so good!

Don't forget that on SA we, the men, are the paying customers.  Not the women.  Allowing lots of unworthy profiles from women onto the site degrades the experience for us. I know of at least one SD friend of mine who has become so disenchanted with the unproductive nature of SA these days that he's decided to not renew his paid membership.  And I can't imagine he's the only one.  Surely at some point SA would have to notice that men are not renewing and that their income was falling.  What good does it do SA if they post zillions of free profiles for women and nearly none for men?  At some point SA should realize they need to make their policies more likely to attract paying memberships, ie us men.  And the first change I'd suggest is disallowing any mention of online arrangements, selling content, only fans, etc.

TBH, over the last few weeks (at least in my region), I’m seeing less of the “online only” girls.   I’m typically a one girl person, so I have my current “regular” SB.  I still however browse because you never know when things will end. Although finding an SB is still alot of work, but I doubt I’ll go back to pros again. I just like the extra time and connection that a SB provides....

Speaking of the money, has anyone noticed that expected rates in the sugar world seem to have increased significantly? Or am I just running into a string of GPS girls right now? I’m seeing lots of girls expecting $1K and up. And that seems steep to me. But maybe that’s just what it is now.

Apologies for the double post, but I’m also curious about the current state of PPM expectations. Lots of threads from four years ago seemed to indicate that $500 PM would get you all but most golden of GPS. More recent threads suggest $300-$500 may be more of the norm. I’ve been lurking and recently joined SA and am trying to line up my first couple of POTs and I want to start in reasonable territory.  

I’m just getting restarted, too. Though I had a good experience with a SB a few years back. We were at $250 per meet back then. A lovely former high school track star and young single mom trying to get back into college.

There have always been $1k+ SB's on the site.  Just like there have always been $200 SB's as well.  It's up to each of us to find the SB's in the range we are most comfortable paying. It should be part of your vetting process and, more importantly, part of your negotiating skills.

Similar findings to The Cat. In the Twin Cities, most PPM is 200-450. Sure you can easily find asks for $500-800 but most guys laugh at them. $300 will get you GFE with an attractive but imperfect woman. $400 for newer ones if you want to be first. Add $ or $$ if you want to go multiple rounds/hours or want anal/kink. $200 will get you attractive enough and some of the best actual experiences as they feel so cherished for once.
