The other day I was browsing SA profiles in the Phoenix area, cuz I've had fun there while traveling. And I noticed a profile that seemed eerily similar to one I had just read five minutes prior. So I went back and found it. Sure enough, both profiles contained the exact same sentences, right down to the dash- in between phrases: "I’m not looking for a sugar daddy who will control my every move – I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself. But I am looking for someone who can provide financial assistance."
This is way too similar to be a coincidence. So on a hunch, I entered these four words into the text search: "control my every move. " Sure enough, I found others using this same language. Then I tried the same search for LA, Minneapolis, Denver, NY, even here in little old Pussy Siberia. And I found exact matches in each city! Try it in your own search areas and you''ll see.
It's hard to believe all these profiles represent honest girls who all just happened to graduate with a major in Sugar Dating and learned those words in Sugaring 101. It's more likely a yellow or red flag revealing a nationwide scamming effort. What do you think?
Yeah, I remember when they actually acknowledged their use of "Ashley's Angels, fake profiles designed to supposedly "enhance the users' experience". As if! I don't expect the same thing on SA, but ya never know. More research required. Have any of you fellow SDs found any of these profiles to be legit?
Seen quite a few lately - and they all read the same w minor difference
One of them even forgot to remove the AI helper message at the end — “I have finished describing you. Please let me know if you would like to enhance it further” lol
In recent weeks I've hit nothing but bots and scammers, not a single lead has panned out for me. This is not good, especially since one of my recent regulars has ghosted without explanation. I think the site is 99% fake profiles at this point, at least for the exceptionally attractive ones in the Los Angeles area. Are you guys running into this?
Be careful that you don't actually use the word "bot" on the site.
In similar circumstances (on SD), I replied to one message from a duplicate profile, asking 'are you a bot'? I quickly got a DM from a moderator, stating that they take bots very seriously and would I share the evidence that I had that the profile was a bot. I'm convinced the tactic was just to quash any rumors of bots on the site.
Another possibility is that these gals are on TikTok or follow some other influencer who is giving them tips. I didn't find anything using those keywords. But I have gotten nearly identical messages in the past along these lines: 'I have to honest with you I'm really struggling. I have my son until Saturday so can't meet right away, but if you help me out in the meantime...'
All of them had the same sentence, although other parts of the text varied. Ages and ethnicities varied, as well as backgrounds, pics and other info. But they all had the same sentence including the spacing error on the hyphen.
