Thanks to you all who posted and answered my questions. I settled on this one SB who I have connection with. The SB and I decided to go on a short trip for two days to a skii resort and have some fun.  

Of course, I will be responsible for all expenses including hotel, meals, lift tickets, snow gears rental and etc.  

Our typical date is we meet at Saturday afternoon, having dinner, hotel, then go home afterwards. I pay her PPM for each regular date like that.  

What should I pay in such a situation when we spend two full days?  
Should I pay two PPMs or more than that?  

I want to get a sense of it before I discuss with the SB.  
Any experience on this?

... And for each day, gave her our PPM rate. No one ever complained. Rather, they seemed delighted.

If she is involved in the planning and this is a vacation for her too, I think PPM x 2 is fine if you are covering everything else. I have probably averaged about PPM x 3, but it is essentially an arbitrary amount. I have never actually discussed the amount, but I have never detected any unhappiness. It has always been with someone who was already a good friend as well as SB, and she had a big role in picking activities, shows, restaurants, etc., so this is her vacation too.
