Was wondering if you guys have noticed this.  When i first joineda year ago i rarely saw a profile that specifically said some version of "not interested in anything sexual." Yes, i would occasionally reach out and was asked what kind or arrangement i sought...when i responded and mentioned intimacy, i would get the rare response that they were not interested on "that type" of arrangement. It frustrated me a bit as they could simply put platonic in their profile. Oh well, i just moved on.  I was always curious....did guys actually provide an allowance to women for the pleasureof taking her out and buying her things without sex?  Anyway...in the last couple of months, there has been a major increase in my area of women specifically stating they were not interested in anything sexual...boldly (in my opinion) stating they wanted an allowance and wanted to be taken out to dinners, shopping, and travel..no intimacy.  Roughly, i will estimate that 1out of 3 new profiles in the 18-24 range state some version of "no sex." It is interesting. While i give them credit for being upfront, i am a bit shocked by the way they view "mutually beneficial."  So curious that when  i last reached out to a woman who did NOT have this in her profile, and she told me she was not interested in anything sexual, i just had to ask...."so what is it you provide in exchange for me taking you out, buying you things, and giving you an allowance?"  She did not understand my question...serves me right for asking😂😂

I've noticed an uptick of these kind of profiles in NYC recently too.  

when an escort was just that, a person to accompany you for companionship, and not sexual services.

As the sugar world becomes better known, there are more scammers and more women with unrealistic expectations.  Stories that are untrue or atypical abound.  Women seem to think that some guys are desperate for female companionship, especially with someone young, attractive, or pleasant.  

Hey KL!    I agree...if an SB has some version of "platonic" in their profile, I pass them by.  The one time I engaged it was clear that the only way I was going to get in her pants was by begging her to allow me to overpay

I can't say I've noticed an uptick in the number of profiles asking for platonic only.  But I have seen many that say nothing serious.  Seems to me that some women who say nothing serious mean that they want a no drama, commitment free, FWB type of arrangement, while others mean the exact opposite: no sex.  

My interpretation is generally "no strings or commitment."  However, it could be nothing physical.  Perhaps, the rest of her profile will shed more light on her intent.

... here in New York, at least, there seems to have been a boom in transexuals opening accounts and looking for love...

I saw one recently where the SB said she was looking for a "plutonic" relationship. I wanted to ask her what kind of interstellar, extraterrestrial arrangement she was looking for, but I'm sure she would have had no idea what I meant.

She must have been out of this world!  

If it says that I just don't bother, makes an impression on me that she's unreasonably scared to begin with, these types are a total pain in the ass. I'd rather she just tell me in private, I'd respect that.

Pluto was the Roman god of wealth and the underworld, so perhaps "plutonic" was a freudian slip.
