I was 8 inches in High School.  About 7 inches at 30.  About 6 inches at 40 now.  What the hell?  Had testoterone levels done, md says normal.  Viagra time ?

Hmmmm, whamo10,

This sounds very interesting. You are shrinking one inch for every ten years? Have you gone to see a urologist about this issue? To my knowledge, there is no research literature that points to such extreme shrinkage...unless you are talking about measuring the penis when it's erect, at full mast, and it truly is two inches shorter than when you were in high school.

I am wondering if there is a methodological issue in your measurements, in other words, did you use a different way of measuring yourself in earlier years?

Another very important factor is weight gain. If you have gained weight since high school - and chances are that you have - then your penis will certainly appear shorter. This is one of the most common misconceptions among men, and one easily remedied by weight loss. Presto, the bigger dick is back!

There is no use in measuring a flaccid penis. Penises are under the influence of all sorts of climactic changes, in addition internal heat/cold/comfort/discomfort in both the physiological and psychological department.

You can study the attached article. There is a reference to some individual studies where "older" males have complained about shrinking penises, but nothing has been verified. And shrinkage of two inches sounds almost like the Guinness book of records! Now what could have happened, is your ability to get truly erect may have changed. That is common, and yes, it can begin as early as 40. If you feel that you are not reaching maximum erection, despite maximum mental excitation, then it's time to visit the urologist for a thorough exam - and yes, possibly an ED med.

Hmmm....I'd almost like to examine this phenomenon myself!

LG,

Thanks for the response.

I used a ruler when masturbating in high school to measure maximum length from base, 8 inches.  My hand is 7 inches, I compared it to my penis length while masturbating about 7 in. at 30yrs and 6 in. at 40yrs.

I used Propecia (anti-testosterone) for 1 month only, a year prior to I noticed it was 7 in., late 20's.  I stopped using propecia after 1 month because my sex drive was almost non-existent.  I returned to my old horny self in 1 month.

I didn't tell the female Endocrinologist why I needed to check my testosterone level at 40yrs and she didn't asked.  My levels were normal. I did jokingly ask for viagra, but she said "you don't need it".

I presume your "...like to examine this phenomenon myself" statement is purely professional...nuts  ;)

I'm cured, I'm cured, the Goddess cured me! :)

The most striking thing you said was that your Endocrinologist didn't ask you why you needed to check your testosterone. People don't generally go to a doctor asking to have a test done. If she didn't bother to ask why that's incredibly incompetent of her!
