LG, you seem to have all the answers and I'm, wondering if you can help. Problem is low quantitiy of cum. I'm just over 50, very healthy and have never had any sexual problems but recently I've noticed that the quantity has decreased in both precum and cum. I have no problem getting hard, staying hard and having a good orgasm but my load is low and the lack of cum seems to have had some effect on the quality of my orgasms, it just dosen't feel as good as it used to. Any suggestions on increasing my load and intensity?

And who is the lucky recipient of this cum, bostont001,

Or is it just because you like to see the jizz fly? :-D :-D. Egads, you boys ;-). Yes, you are getting older and your semen volume is decreasing. Personally, I think that's great. No fuss, no muss! What woman doesn't LOVE that??!!

Now, I don't think it's the volume itself that responsible for changing the quality of your orgasms. There could be a zillion issues: stress, nutrition, fatigue, decrease in testosterone levels (although then you would likely experience a decrease in desire and arousal as well,) lack of exercise...

It seems to me that this is a psychological issue, and that something has happened elsewhere in your life...something which affects your acceptance of this minute change in your sexual pattern. In the absence of any more serious erectile difficulties or orgasmic ability, I'd go get a good medical workup. After that, I'd examine my eating/drinking/exercising activities. Somewhere between the doc and the dick, there is an answer. As to increasing your load, I truly have no idea, except refraining from sex for a few days/weeks. Watch that spoo come flying again...

Don't look a gift orgasm in the mouth, think of your orgasmically challenged brethren,

I'm with LG. Get a good medical workup.  At 53 I went for over a year with similar problems.  My PCP initially referred me to urologist who because of his specialty and preconceived notions suspected prostate.  An insightful female NP a year later quickly guessed diabetes, ran the tests, I got totally off sugar and the problem resolved.  Got it?

Lot's of lucky recipients... I do like to see it fly but less of a load means less intensity of the orgasm for me. Waiting does help a little, i guess it's age? There is nothing a man can take to increase his sperm?
Thanks for you help your responses to mine and others questions have been very helpful.

Way back.... when my wife and I were trying to start a family I was told I had a low sperm count. And beyond any testosterone drugs and such we got this advice.

Wear boxers and not briefs. Try to have several erections before having sex.

The boxer thing was explained as I was "over-heating" the sperm and killing a lot of them off. Sorta like shooting blanks.

The several erections was to build up volume. I'm clueless as to what the mechanics are behind it, but I find it still works today.

i'm not a doctor, but ...

less frequent sex gives your body time to build up ejaculate, as well as plenty of rest/sleep in general. also, regular exercise keeps everything pumping as it should.

a good healthy diet is key, making sure you get your daily vitamins helps, and there are some over the counter supplements which may increase your load.

for me, mango (also juice or puree) does wonders for my overall performance. think potassium.

saw palmetto and horny goat weed are purported to protect prostate health with an associated benefit to maintaining levels of ejaculate.

many "men's" multivitamins include L-Arginine, magnesium, and zinc that have been reported to also positively affect ejaculate volume.

there is info online about this available for your personal research.

as always YMMV and see your doctor.

good luck !!!

Lg,

These are very suggestions, and I have few things to add.

-The "multiple erection" idea is somewhat right.  I had read an interview of Ron Jeremy asking this question.  He stated that to increase your load, while having sex get as close as you can without cuming. Then back off.  Pull out and concentrate on her for a while, manually or orally.  Then once you've calmed down a little, back at it.  Do this a few times.  Everytime you get close to the point of cuming, your load increases.

-The vitamins and suppliments are a good idea also.  Mens multi-vitamins or suppliments having to do with sexual health or prostate health.  Also, vitamins that help support circulation are great also.

-Last but definatly not least, hydration.  Not lubrication, hydration.  Your load is liquid based, the better your body is hydrated throughout the day, the bigger the load will be.  Water and unsweetened fruit juices are great for this.
Stay away from dairy though.  It can actually have a thickening affect, which will make it dribble instead of shooting for distance. Milk, yougurt, cheese, ice cream.  Not only can dairy affect the size of your load, but I have heard from several females that has a negative affect on the taste of it as well.

Hope these tips help.
