Hmm... then I can only speculate that the profiles and messages were deleted by the POT or Admin.  I can look at my message log and see that maybe 35-40% of messages I received in the last 6 months are now from POT's who either blocked me (I can still see the profile name, but can't see their profile), or the profile was deleted (name appears as "Sugar Baby").  In each case, I can still see the old messages.  

 
So I am stumped... sorry.

So I re-activated my account after deactivating it last fall.  I haven't upgraded to premium yet as I am waiting on a few things at work to sort out themselves out.  However, I have left my account in the no-message mode for the past couple of weeks and of course done some browsing just to see who/what is out there.  One woman made a request for pictures that I had not responded to, but just noticed that that message is now gone from my inbox (no I did not delete it).  I also noticed that under the Viewed by tab that some of women that viewed my profile have suddenly disappeared  from the list.  I found it odd and was wondering if anyone else has seen or had it happen to them.  Not too worried about it as I am still in the non-premium phase right now.

SA put a policy in place last year (shortly after FOSTA/SETSA) that old messages auto-delete after 6 months/180 days. I speculate this is another precaution against having potentially damaging text subject to subpoena.  You can screen cap your messages if you want to keep them, but it's a hassle and could end up putting you at risk as well for the same reasons. (Think recent new about a FL former Tax collector who kept screen shots of his convo from an app that auto-destructs messages in 30 minutes. NO POLITICAL chat here, please!).  

 
As to disappearing profiles, that's just part of the landscape. I'd say that at least 25% of the POT's that I have sent/received messages on the site disappear for any number of reasons: The profile is deactivated or deleted by them or the site, they block you, etc. I have also seen many POT's who revoke private pics after a few days, presumably when/if I don't respond once permission is granted.  

So, nothing odd here. It's just how the site works.

The only thing is Herb it was only a few days old.  Wasn't a 6 month old post, it was fresh.

Anything beyond a couple weeks is going to be stale anyhow.  Life moves fast.  A chick might cycle around again after her previous daddy disappears, but who knows when that'll be.
