I will be in Thailand and Indonesia for a total of 45 days starting next February, 2025.  Some of you may recall my past posts about travel in the Philippines and my successes and failures sugar dating in Manila and Angeles City TLDR: A lot of FUN at an affordable rate (after business class airfare).  

 
This time, I'll be testing the markets in Bangkok, Pattaya, Jakarta and Bali. Still in early planning state right now, and open to meeting any of you road warriors there if you want to take on the adventure for yourself.

Deep into my planning phase, airfare and hotels booked and pre-paid to get better rates, and then...  

 
I thought I would reach out (through WhatsApp) to a friend I met during my 1st trip to the Philippines in 2023. He lives in Singapore now, but like me, he spent several years in Silicon Valley doing FinTech work.  I sent him my itinerary and invited him to meet in Jakarta if interested.  He said he'd look at the dates and let me know.... a day later he told me to recheck my dates and... well, I fucked up.  

 
The entire time I would be in Indonesia was the month-long holiday of Ramadan! Rookie mistake on my part. I had checked for major holidays on my American-based calendar, but not on a Muslim-based calendar. From my working associations with Muslim's during my career, I knew it is a month-long period of day-time-fasting and prayers. But I had to do more research on what Ramadan is all about inside a Muslim country. I won't go into any religious expositions here; that's for another site.  I'll just say it's a really bad time to visit for the intended purposes of my trip!  

 
I had to change all my travel plans. Called my airline booking service first. After a 2-hour call, I was able to change 3 out of 4 flights to a later date, with minimal change fees around $250. The 4th flight had to be cancelled, and I got a refund less a 25% cancellation fee. Then I had to book new flights for the return to the US from Bali, at a higher cost of $426, of course. The net-net of airfare changes was about $800 in additional expense.    

 
Next, I had to rework my hotel bookings, which ended up being time-consuming, but not very expensive.  

 
As much as I describe myself as an experienced traveler, well, I'll never really know what I don't know, until I do... LOL  

 
So travel dates are now mid-March through early May.  Fortunately, I have a new SB (21-yr-old ballerina) ready for BCD next week, my 2 Porn Star SB's essentially on-call, my Viet Spinner coming this Thursday, and 3 others on my B-List rotation to keep me happy until I fly the friendly skies... which means:

Now Thailand and especially Bali and definitely nice places to spend some time, especially with the lovely ladles there!
And, of course, they are not much affected by Ramadan...which pretty much tells you everything you want to know about Muslim girls.

Usually I don’t pick on  a fellow monger, but maybe you are applying your personal bias  and prejudice here —  

I mean I get it, seeing news coverage and all , Muslims are probably the last group in the US where it is still socially acceptable to dump on them and no reputational harm will come to you  

But my personal experience with an Indian SB (who was a Muslim ) studying at a local UC  was nothing short of fabulous for the six months or so I saw her  

 She was hot, an absolute delight in bed and during her religious time (not sure which but I think it was this one Ramadan) —  she took a break from sex but  she made sure to treat me with whatever desserts she prepared for their festivities. Probably one of my best memories of this life

Sorry to come across a little harsh on the Muslim ladies, but yours was obviously here and not in her native country (totally apples to oranges comparison).

I spend alot of time in Egypt - mostly Cairo, but my previous travels have taken me to Indonesia/Bali/Thailand, etc.

Being even a little friendly (especially in public) with a single, younger Muslim girl will get you trouble if not killed...I kid you not.

Now privately, they can be real sluts (drinking and partying and the like) - but the chances of a older white boy from the USA getting private with one is slim.

I was texting with a new 18 year old, she had an apparent middle eastern name.  She desperately wanted to go to a remote college to get away from her strict family.  I don't know which religion if any, but she was willing to do anything to get away.  She wanted me to pick her up at her highschool during the day because she otherwise couldn't get out of the house.  I knew that was too dangerous so other sexting with her a little I declined to meet her.  Being a sweet guy a did send her a few bucks toward her college fund.  That was a mistake.

A couple days later I get a call on my landline and it is daddy threatening me.  Since it was just a legit gift I send the donation thru regular banking. So he was able to get my name and look me up in the phone book.

He also started calling around to people he thought might be my relatives.

Anyhow I texted him that I would file a harassment complaint if he persisted, since nothing I did was illegal.

That was sufficient and I never heard from him again.  I don't know what happened to the poor girl though.

You could have gotten the same phone call from a conservative Christian or Mormon  or any other dad out there  are plenty of examples of vengeful dads or brothers settling  it w a firearm in the south  

But its our biased mind that finds it satisfactory to believe in such stories when they apply to Muslims, a lot of it is media propaganda in service of an agenda  

And Euroguy you may be  totally right since you have first hand experience, my first hand experience is here in LA but it’s a matter of fact that not all countries lend themselves to sugaring like the US model, and we cant expect them to  

But stereotypes are just that. I mean we’ve all seen the racist but supposedly “funny” movie borat made by sacha baron cohen who is a big time propagandist but i have actually met Kazakh women in LA who tell me it’s all bs and nothing of the sort. In fact one of the escorts I saw via Eros was Kazakh too, and she was dazzlingly beautiful with Asian / Mongol / white features  

Anyways to each their own opinion, I have said my piece

Maybe I am biased too by my experience as I have dated so many different ethnicities of women in LA and that has dispelled my own prejudices and stereotypes over time

It's always wise to be aware of local customs and societal taboos.  Even more so when visiting a country for the 1st time. A warning to observe proper customs and tribal sensitivities is well founded.  

 
Fortunately, I have ample research materials at my disposal and will adhere to the advice given by expat Westerners who now live in the regions I will be visiting.  

 
There are certainly "no go" zones that I will scrupulously avoid!  Fortunately, the locations and establishments I will be going to are well documented for not only accepting single, male Westerners, but (many who) actually cater to them. I have no intention of seeking fresh pussy in family-friendly locations, let alone portraying the stereotypical arrogant, obnoxious, Western slob profile established by too many movies and TV shows.  

 
IOW: I shall refrain from crashing into a mosque tossing 1-million-rupee bills to hotties and asking them to blow me on the spot.... I can politely wait in the parking lot. :p

Spin it how you like but there are an estimated 25 honor killings a year in the USA and they are almost all of Islamic background.

Do you have any legit source or are you just regurgitating propaganda that suits your own personal bias ?
