I'm trying out SB just to kick the tires. I got several messages when I signed up. But it costs credits to respond. So I bought some and responded. Except for one, I haven't gotten responses back from ladies who supposedly initiated contact in the first place. To those of you who are familiar with SB... are those initial "Hi there's" automated bot messages?
I like the fact that they charge by the message. That way, I don't feel like my money is draining away just for being around. Maybe I want to put things on hold. And, at least, I am not spending countless fruitless hours texting like seems to happen all the time on SA.
Still., I haven't yet figured how to crack the mysterious code at SB that opens up endless romantic possibilities. I got started on Craigslist and then on Backpage. So many opportunities, so quick to take advantage of. Everything I hear about SA is that nowadays it is scam city. I'll keep plodding on SB to see what happens, but will probably switch to more certified providers that you can find easily enough on TER.
I can't say there aren't bots on SB, but I've met several women off SB, so they aren't all bots. I think chicks are encouraged to spam out messages. Makes sense from their side. I'd say try again a few times on non responders. They're going to chase the best opportunity -- which is often a dead end, so they might become active again at any time.
On SB you can "favorite" someone and give them permission for your private fotos -- without extra cost. I think I would try this next time (I'm not available until probably January) with someone I find interesting that hasn't pinged me in any manner yet. If they don't favorite me back or send a message, then I won't spend the credits to message them first.
I agree with Netnoy on this. You can contact unlimited POTS on SA if you are willing to do the work. If you shoot for higher numbers you'll get more swings at the bat which should result in more home runs, or at least increase your chances for them. Your investment of time reaching higher numbers is small compared to the rewards, as it takes a relatively small amount of time to curate and send custom messages to prospects. A successful BCD can and often does result in a keeper, which can last for many months if compatibility aligns.
Does SB take credit cards or not anymore? When last I tried to join I could find nothing other than they only take crypto now, and I am not going there. When I even inquired about the options, I was deleted and blocked immediately. Bizarre.
I used a credit card when I purchased credits. I was hoping to see something like the gift card option that TER offers. But they didn't have that. I saw nothing about paying with crypto. If that was the only option, I'd have been on the outside looking in. I don't use crypto and know nothing about it.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
