Many SBs describe themselves as spontaneous, as if that's automatically understood to be a good thing.  But wtf does that even mean?  Are they trying to say they hate planning things in advance and sticking to their plans?  Because if that's what they really mean, I never want to associate with a person like that.  In that way I take spontaneous to mean undependable.  Do they mean they are quick to hop in bed with you?  Not sure I like that either, even in the context of an established arrangement since I need to plan my activities in advance and make sure I am rested, medicated, and eager!  I'd rather they described themselves as decisive, able to commit to an arrangement after meeting someone for the first time.  But maybe they mean something entirely different when they say they are spontaneous.  The only descriptor I see used more frequently is outgoing, which I also am not certain is always a good thing.  Save that for another thread.  What do you think of spontaneous?

It's an appeal to the luxury of not being tied down to earthly concerns.  It's a fantasy.  You can't be spontaneous if you have a class to study for, or a waitress job to attend to, or taking care of absent baby daddy's little brat.  You have to fit all of life in between those burdens and that requires planning and commitment.

Spontaneity comes from being rich enough that you can forget about your life duties and just do whatever is fun.

They don't really mean they are spontaneous, they mean that if the could afford it, they would be able to be spontaneous.

During the day was in contact with two pots. With one we were on snapchat exchanging chats and maybe a dozen photos each while working, me from home, her at the restaurant. The plan was to get together for drinks after her shift ended. At the same time was texting with another to meet in the early afternoon. Some issues, she used the wrong number and must have been in contact with another SD because she was saying I’m ready to meet at the Walmart. Walmart? Which one? How much? Where are we going?  

So of course, ended up not meeting either. Both profiles included spontaneous.

 
Maybe spontaneous is a short way of saying: I’ll ghost you right before we’re supposed to meet, drop you for a better offer, confuse you with another sd/bf/trick or get distracted by dust in the sunlight….

I think they use that term in the false assumption that a "real" SD is Richard Gere from  "Pretty Woman."

In her fantasy world, a super rich Daddy can spontaneously decide to take his Baby on his G4 to New York (or Paris) for dinner. He can spontaneously decide to take her to Fiji for a week with just the clothes on their backs and buy a whole new wardrobe form an upscale boutique at the  Ritz hotel lobby. He can spontaneously decide to buy her 50-carat diamond earrings to go with  that Vera Wang dress he happens to have in the back of the Rolls - and it just happens to be perfectly tailored to her size.

So, yeah, she says she's spontaneous.  Except, no. She is not. She is desperately counting on your $300 sugar to cover the rest of her rent and get her enough gas to get to Popeye's Chicken before her 4 pm shift starts - because if she's late again, the manager will fire her - and he definitely won't accept a(nother) BJ as an apology.

So, it I think it really means YOU can be "spontaneous" by giving her something very expensive and probably very useless in addition to her promised allowance.

Here's how I roll with spontaneity:  
Surprise! (Jazz hands!) I got you a vacuum cleaner!  Start in the living room, Babe.

I think that their definition of spontaneity is rooted in fantasy.

Or

it could mean, I need money now, so I can get together now.

Spontaneous?  HaHa! HaHaHa!  My life is so planned in order to avoid wifey detection that I don't have room for spontaneity with a SB.  I have moments of time to fit the SB into my tight schedule.  Make it known from the start and stick with it.

I am the type of person who keeps a "go bag" in my trunk and my passport in my briefcase "just in case" I get the urge to hop on a plane to another country for no other reason than I had an itch that needed scratching. This was pre-COVID of course.

 
I of course have business obligations which keep me from doing this as often as I once did, but I am the boss, I am very happily divorced with no one to answer to and I don't even own so much as a gold fish that might starve to death if I hop a plane on the way back from happy hour and end up not coming home for a week. lol

 
One of the reasons I can get my PPM down so low with my regular SB's is that I tell them that they can use me as there personal ATM, all they have to do is call me up and if I am not out of town, or otherwise unavailable, they can come right over, have a quick romp in the hay with me and grab some quick money pretty much whenever they want. Unlike some guys, I am pretty much ALWAYS in the mood, and the only preparation I need is to maybe take a quick shower before she arrives.

 
I try to keep at least one or two SB's in my rotation who will pop in two to three times a week. Maybe that's the reason I am usually in a good mood. lol
