There is a young female who is a manager at a trendy  restaurant where I live.  She told she goes to college part time.  I would guess she might be mid twenties. She is very friendly to me when I come to the restaurant. Not a spinner, but not fat in any way. Good potential SB. I have no idea if she even knows what a SB is. My question is how can I approach her to find out if there  any SB/SD  possibilities?  Or am I just thinking foolishly? Do any of you sugar bowl veterans have any thoughts on this?

I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

Ask her for coffee.. tell her you'd like to chat. If she has any interest you take take it from there.

There are literally thousands of women who have actively entered the sugar bowl looking for a sugar arrangement. They are conveniently arranged, sorted and self-documented to facilitate your selection.  

LOL... ok she probably won't lose her job... but she may have to explain or complain to her manager that that creepy guy just asked her out and won't leave her alone.  

If you like her, just ask the girl out! If you have no game or it’s a complete mismatch go back to SA, throw out multiple lines and start reeling them in!

We all hear stories (or in some cases happened to us) about turning some hot chick.  What we don't hear as much is the thousands of times this doesn't work out.

So you'd really have to start out as a simple dating move and initially incorporate the sugar as gifts etc without a quid pro quo.  You could get into that later after the first successful dates.

This is a serious answer, rochman.  I missed that she is the manager. But that may be even worse! As the manager, she should be keenly aware that her actions on the job are observed by her staff.  And all managers have managers....  

I seem to remember that the best approach was to talk to the target about enjoying SPOILING your girlfriend, if only you had one...etc  - You get the idea
