My SA subscription is nearing its end.  I do what I always do at this time is re-evaluate my position on staying in or leaving.  What I do notice is I get many more visits and favoriting now than normal.  These are mostly from outside the US or at least across the country from me.  Is that the experience of everyone else here?

if you're not certain.  I stopped mine for a month...came back...and out of the blue now have a rotation of something like five hot girls.  Funny, my main issue is not the girls but reevaluating if spending 5K a month is both wise and the prudent thing to do...oh, fuck it, I'm typically exhausted each week, but it's good for the heart!  lol

I never leave my profile up, but discreetly message any hot babe that catches my interest.  Probably running 30% on replies but I'm in a big city with alot of competition.

My profile stays up, pictures and text visible to any who care to view them. Yes, it costs nearly $1000/ year.  So what? I think a consistent presence is important, and shows I'm real and I'm serious.  Anyway, it works for me! And yes, there are tons of girls in dire straights in Venezuela, Phillipines, and many other places. I get many messages from them every day.  But I only am dating locally and I never purchase pictures or videos, so they are wasting their time, at least with me.

I've found that ignoring interest from far away places and hiding those profiles cut way down on that garbage.  Odds are many of these "interests" are the same scammers over and over.  Ignoring them I think discourages them.  Also, SA does want us to re-up.  After all they are a business wishing to generate income and who's to say they don't target near expired premium members with fake interests.  When I'm not paid up, I disable my profile (SA settings, way on the bottom) so it can't be seen.  Logging back on makes me visible again when I lurk, which I do every now and then out of curiosity, as a gauge of when to deep dive by paying up.  For these visits, I have the switch turned off in settings that would make my profile show up on someone's interests should I view their profile.  This minimizes my exposure to having my profile viewed to the small window of time I'm on the site, and reduces the activity under my interests tab to near zero.
