Hi,

I know sperm can contain HIV, but what other STD's?

My regular provider won't do CIM or facials anymore ( 2yrs last time).  I told her I passed my annual HIV test and she's the only one I've been with in almost a year.

Regardless of what may or may not be transmittable why on earth would you expect a woman who is practically a stranger to take your word for either your test results or your monogamy?

"Facial STD?" The immediate risk I could think of would be chlamydia or gonorrhea in the eye - not fun at all. In addition, most people who get a good eyeful of semen get sort of a "pink eye" that can stay for days; in fact, some people are so highly allergic that their eyes can swell up and get very irritated.

On the other hand, STDs notwithstanding, facials can be very exciting if you really are into the person giving them...whereas if you have to "act," they may just be too much of a bother. Needless to say, everything in sex is [or at least should be] up for negotiation, with each party's limits and boundaries respected. It just may be that she is not into facials? It's sticky, messy and yes, it can screw up your sclera for several days on end.

I'm not quite clear if you're asking this question in order to fully understand her reasoning for refusing you, and/or to find supporting evidence to talk her into giving you what you want. If it's the latter, I'd drop it. She has her reasons and that's enough. You could definitely impair how she feels about being with you.

yes it really does not matter why she has the rules and limitations that she has. They don't need to be logical to you, or even to her actually.
She decides what her comfort level is and that is that.

I've always wondered this as well ... can a girl get an STD from a mouthful?  alot of girls will do CIM and not swallow ....

If the person is infected with gonorrhea or chlamydia, inserting his penis in a woman's mouth means mutual mucous membrane contact and high risk for transmitting the STD. At that point, there needs to be no sperm to infect the partner. As for just getting the face douched with sperm and swallowing a minute amount - haven't seen any stats from the CDC on it. One of the reasons may be that stomach acid is very strong and will kill most such bacteria.
