I have had one who claimed she forgot, another who ghosted, and one who insisted that "she is not that kind of girl" after giving me a detailed history of her sugaring experience. The older ones are more likely to show up or at least cancel with at least a couple of hours notice if they have changed their minds.
I am pretty new to sugaring but it seems like what most of the POTS really want is to be paid to be in a relationship with the option to ghost when they feel like it.
And the few POTS who are actually willing to enter into an arrangement are only willing to do so because they have recently experienced the reality of the labor market i.e. college students or divorcees whose lifestyles are no longer being subsidized. Am I way off?
There are numerous reasons why a POT is on an arrangement site, and what you've said touches on some of those reasons. You indicate you're new to this, so you haven't refined your approach yet. Honestly identify what it is you hope to accomplish, and edit your profile to attract the SB who is looking for the same thing, gift attached. Finding your perfect catch will involve some catch and release, but eventually you'll find which bait attracts what for you is a keeper. You won't hook all of them, but you won't go hungry either. Just yesterday, after multiple back and forth DMs on site, she tells me she has "fantasies of being fucked by a man twice her age". Can you see the smile on my face? So many fish in the sea, but there are SB who actually want to fuck you.
This is one way to look at it. But from the point of view of the cynical SB, they are looking at guys who just want to fuck whenever they choose and pay less than an escort, without any sustainable financial arrangement, and who disappear. If a "relationship" works it can be good for both sides. But you have to each want the same things. It can be a no-strings occasional romp, a regular hookup or a semblance of a real BF-GF thing with some limitations. There are LOTS of different gals looking for different things. Yes some are desperate, some are pro or semi-pro and some just want to try a new kind of dating without losers. You might check the r--dit forum which has a lot discussion on both sides.
I took a gander at the forum and there seem to be lots of posts by SB "spilling the secret" that SD expect intimacy and won't be flying SB around on their private jet lol file that under does a bear shit in the woods and money doesn't grow on trees...
Therein lies the key to success in the bowl: "good for both sides...you have to each want the same things." You truly can treat it as a one and done every single time if your goal is notches on the bedpost, but the real rewards come when you find those keepers.
