i can sympathize. as recently as 10 years ago i used to have the same problem with my civy dates but not the same degree: questions and raised eyebrows, once even rocks thrown by a wacko who really disapproved of the age difference. no handcuffs though.

at least everyone is safe at home, though. there is no curing people of thinking and acting on what they think is best for you though. it's irritating interference and negative added value.

Firstly, let me say that I think it is a complete BS that they detained him based on a hunch rather than evidence.

But I'm not surprised. That's how dirty those guys operate: detain first without a shred of concrete evidence, deal with the consequences later, and hope that you don't stand up for your rights.
I'm convinced without a shadow of doubt that DC/MD/VA and surrounding area police seriously have nothing better to do.  It is probablyy the reason why there are so many dunkin donuts in this area, because they are busy munching donuts instead of doing real work... like fighting war on drugs, gangs, theft.  
They are well funded by tax payers money. As a result, they are looking for a good reason to justify their stupid fucking existence... some say that it happens especially during political events when somebody needs to look good.

While it can be a heaven for hobbyists due to so many providers and visiting providers alike, the lurking donut munchers are a serious concern. I would say that probably most are good but some have a major chip on their shoulders, break the rules too just to get an arrest. Case in point was when a cop actually slept with an escort, had a great time, then he arrests her afterwards. Some of these donut munching undercover cops are just hard to believe.  

However, having that said, I'm not so sure if it's a good idea that you are posting about this. His personal info could soon be visible on county police websites, regardless of his innocence. Is that something you want peoples attention to be drawn to? .... just sayin  Maybe he should sue to police department for defamation.

race so we don't belong here. we do have
a horse who likes to graze amongst his friends
so we have become familiar with, and have
be-friended, a few of his friends.

its a no-win/no-win for us as we're chastised

her weapon out and made my husband get out
of the truck and lie flat on the ground to
cuff him. when the_nurse heard this she went
ballistic. no one is pulling on anything with
her around.

but our lawyer is on it like shit because
of how my husband was treated with his own
house guest in the vehicle. if any other info
is leaked we may own the "one horse" this town

I am one of them. The_Mrs, and The_Nurse care for OSP. I am sure they would stop if OSP asked them to. He isn't shy or mentally weak, if it bothered him he would speak up. I started off getting to know OSP, but the more I got to know those around them, the more I respected all of them.

As for capacity deflating, it is a bit but many of us really care for him and like the updates. All of them are having hard time right now. Now back off and apologize or you might find more then MP67 going after you.

That being said  if your husband wasn't in poor health, it is kind of funny. Unfortunately that is not the case and the last thing he needed is to be roughed up by a cop. So it isn't so funny and I would sue. Ill heath or not, funny or not that cop was out of line.

I know of TB through a mutual acquaintance.  From what I hear, he's not an ass at all.  The question of his ass-ness aside, in the time I've been shepherd of this ranch, it seems that the best way to get "attacked" is to post a lot.  The OP hits pretty high posting numbers in aggregate and is therefore subjected to an occasional hit.  That's not to say that he (or they if you prefer) isn't entitled to post, that TB or others isn't entitled to complain about it, or that you aren't entitled to complain about him complaining.  It just is what it is.
