I do not do deposits or cancellation fees, but because of this I have a very strict NCNS policy. I let a guy slip though!! And he NCNS again!!! He offered to pay a cancellation fee and I declined. He said that this was "not fair" because other gals let him do this. I am out $600 (300 for both one hour appointments) and he offered me $200 for a fee. I declined and told him I would not be rescheduling with him again.  My policy is listed on my website and tryst. Of course I understand if you have an actual emergency, this guy just has a "busy" life (his words). Thoughts? Guys and gals, let me know what you think!!

Hello,

I would demand $300 for both missed appointments and the acceptable that a future booking would require FULL PAYMENT upfront. That's firm but fair imo.

BOTH missed appointments, then it's no harm, no foul, but she still as to decide if next time is going to be back to number one or is it number three?  If it's back to number one, and the policy remains the same, then this could be an ongoing source of revenue without ever having to see the guy in person.   Lol

Lmao the subscription model for flakes 😂
Ghostflix: $200/month to never meet me.

You did what was right for you!  Sure, there are valid reasons to miss or reschedule an appointment.  But to willy nilly do so and think it is okay isn't cool.  Accountability and repercussions are on him, not you!

Accept the cancellation fee but if he NCNS a third time, he’s out.

Your policy is clear. He's feelings are not your problem.

That said, I would take the $200, because some money is better than no money. And, I would tell him if he wants to rebook he needs to pay the entire amount upfront for the new appointment.

And while I understand you were expecting $600, that's what's called sunk money. It's already in the past and money you don't have. The best decision is one that you are comfortable with for the future. Even if that decision is telling him to f off.

No excuse for that shit. I had a girl 45 minutes late because of “traffic”. It’s absolutely disrespectful.  Leave fucking earlier then.

I personally have required deposits to book, since 2010 & if I lost $600 out of pocket I would need to be reimbursed. I don’t invest my time and money, like I used to prior to becoming a single parent. I can not afford to risk loosing time and money. 💰

Without a good reason, one strike and you're out. N-E-X-T-!
