It is pure economics. Wages are generally higher in these areas so gentlemen typically have more disposable income. Expenses are higher, so ladies have to charge more to cover their "overhead".
Sometimes I think about driving out to see a girl. It's always at least one hundred less per hour. It's understandable.. Getting a room in the city is always more money. I always wondered if I could set up a regular situation where I traveled to her for a cheaper rate. Seems fair as the extra money I pay would only go to an overpriced hotel anyway. It almost seems more convenient for her. She still pockets the same money, I get a cheaper rate. It's a win win to me.
For a city like NYC, I have never taken less than 800 for 2 hours I don't think, but usually I only saw one guy a day, maybe 2 on only one day for a week tour. Then, I would drop the rates, hit Stamford where hotels are a third less, and see 2 guys a day at 4-500 a piece.

The secret is finding the "sweet spot" in the price/demand curve. Setting the price that brings you just the amount of business you want and still maintains the profitability you seek.
Yep, but she has a point about charging the highest. I would never charge the "least" in any city, but I do charge the highest in my home base. Why? Because I wanted to price myself OUT of the bottom feeding local market that forces one to bang 5-10 guys a week. When a provider tours though, this is not as easy. You don't have a month to wait on clients to fly in...you have x amount of days to make money, or you go home broke, so the rules of equilibrium don't always apply for touring providers. You simply cannot predict what a certain market will do for x provider in x city on x week. Touring is a crap shoot.
Most economic theory is based on a steady state market. As you state, you have set your local pricing to bring in as much business as you want (and I can only assume retain profitability).
Touring turns that upside down. Personally I have a lot of respect for ladies that tour. It must take big cajones to deal with the uncertainty of traveling to a new city and hoping you get enough bookings to at least cover your costs. Once you travel to a location a couple times and build some regular clientele it helps remove some of the uncertainty, but still... JB
Those larger markets, but I noticed a thread the other day on back page ladies who seem to charge only $160 an hot. I know there are higher priced ladies there, but I guess I was kinda taken aback at how low that was.
I thought that as well. The only explanation I can come up with for the pricing in my area is the large number of providers (we have all the congressmen and the IRS, so there is always someone trying fk you..lol).
The $160/180 girls are typically a scam. But yes, it seems there are more reputable ladies in the $250-300 range than there are in other large metro areas.
You would be more enlightened if I were to make every facet of my life and nefarious career more transparent to you. Its true that I have embellished many facts and figure, in the past, that have been quite helpful in remaining a mystery(and consequently a quandry to those who insist on complete transparency)to those whom I wish to be mysterious to.......ie..........everyone lol.

That's in Atlanta as well, but most of the women are getting over 500 per date who don't "need" to work every damn day. There was a guy from Seattle talking about how spoiled he was to rates of 100-150, and looking for that shit here. I told him to try backpage.
In all seriousness, I would never again tour. I would only fly to see someone if they sent a deposit to cover my expenses first. It was something I enjoyed for about 2 years, and got burned out on. Once you've seen all the exciting places you really wanted to see and find yourself having to visit North Dakota for coin, it gets old quick. I usually advertised 30 days out, but guys book, cancel, and others might book in their place. Or, they may not and you're fked. Not worth the hassle.
