You can't have an escape from life unless you have a life to escape from in the first place.

We need an escape every once in a while because by definition life is full of the problems of getting done the things that have to be done for life to go on.  That means work, fretting over money, dealing with the kids, getting the car fixed, ad infinitum.

We pay gals to give us those few hours every so often so we have an environment where we can just forget our cares and be pampered.  It's not real, and thank God it isn't real.  That's why having any kind of drama in a P4P situation sucks; it drains the fun that we need out of the situation.

Not all relationships are doomed.  You just have to be realistic and be willing to put into them as much as you get out of them.  It pays to be very choosey about whom you share your life with as well.

Ever done something for you that makes you able to deal with life in a better way ...see I have 2 who make me forget my work , after an hour I'm relaxed not a worry in the world ....how come my girlfriends can't do this ? Okay these 2 know a lot about me , they listen without a motive . They call me on special days , my birthday , Christmas etc..and listen Otto my bitching ...how come civvie girls don't get it ???? Providers only have to see you and deal with you for 2 or 3 hours at a time. If a provider is a good actress, the best providers are, then she will be able to make you feel like the King of the world for that short amount of time. It's a fantasy that they sell, they make good money doing it and the good ones are as booked as they want to be. But your GF has to deal with all the other bullshit, the farting, the snoring the crabbyness the selfishness and so it's not as easy to give you the fantasy. The short amount of our lives spent with providers is seen through rose colored glasses because when we or they show up, you and I know we are about to get laid, so we are in a great mood. They seize upon that great mood, because they are professionals (lol, the right lady will smile at that one).and they know they don't have to deal with the worst of us if they do their job right.

I attempted to convey the same message and I knew there would be providers that would say this very thing. This is exactly why I love the hobby life, I get their best without the drama and the bullshit. And they get paid very well to give me that window of pleasure. Win/win.

I quit in 2002. When I told my Doctor that I had successfully quit he told me " you have done the single most important thing that you could ever do for your health". No offense meant to current smokers, but that is the most disgusting awful habit that there is, in my opinion. And you live you life around cigarettes, someone would call me and say hey let's go golfing after work and I'd say ok but I've got to stop at the store on the way there to get cigs, or I'd be going out on the boat for the weekend and I'd have to figure out how many packs I'd need and add a few, because you sure can't get stranded somewhere without them. Ugh, what an awful habit, so glad I kicked it. And hey by the way, even though you may have urges, at 2 weeks quit your body is no longer addicted to nicotine, so it's just a mental thing from here on out.
