Can any of you please tell me why when you clearly read reviews, a lot of you don't bother to read the full profile or the websites?

I know that men are visual people, but come on now.

We are only open during the day, on the ladies TER reviews under availabilty is says daytime. On my website the hours are clearly stated in the about us section. On the voicemail it says "If you are calling during regular business hours of 10:00am to 7:00 pm and you are getting this message, it means we are on the line helping another client,please call back in 5 minutes.

Every single night when we are closed I get phone calls. They never listen to the voicemail, they just keep calling and calling. This is usually in the middle of the night. (My office is in my home).

I know, I should turn of the ringer but sometime I forget.

The thing I don't understand is that TER is the only place I advertise. I don't have ads on Eros or cityvibe.

Sorry for the long rant, but why can't you guys read?

I'd like  the  answer  to that  question  too because  time isn't  the  only issue that  a few guys have problems with.

I fully understand your angst. I have filled out several if not many ladies' contact pages asking for a date (day and time plus guidelines as to when I'm available) and had the lady in turn offer a date / time that I did not ask for and for which I plainly stated that I was unavailable.....

It appears that we - men and women - are no longer a culture of careful, patient readers or that our educational system is no longer inculcating reading comprehension

whenever I read a diatribe here by a lady / escort service complaining about clients, I find myself discouraged from continuing to try to help educate the noobs....

Counter productive? Yes, with me anyway.

So - if you want to affect positive change, instead of complaining, go on Noobie and make a non-argumentative, non-hostile post about reading the website info carefully. Its been done many times but repetition is the art of good teaching.

I guess that can fall into two categories;


1) Any guy can tell you our brains have a character limit, after we read X amount of sentences we forget the entire written language. Sometimes we can catch a word or two after said limit, but at that point our eyes are just hunting down keywords... keywords we want to see at that.  It’s like carrying a cell phone conversation while going under a series of tunnels. It’s an inconvenience but we do our best to live with it.

2) If that line of reasoning didn’t fly, lets just go with said guys were probably out late and some amount of intoxication might be playing a role. Not saying they were drunk, just tipsy enough to know they want to have a good time and to recall how to work one of those cell phone devices everyone seems to be carrying.

The multiple calls, that’s a whole different story. Maybe they were under the impression that the voicemail that was about to start would probably say something like phone line’s busy at the moment, please try again. Who knows? We’re as manly as we’re complicated.


… and by manly and/or complicated one could assume that means not so good at following directions and not so great at the rarely common, common sense.

In my experience, the vast majority of addy's, websites, and so forth and cluttered with so much BS, that I suspect there isn't much credence placed in them nowadays.  Ads say GFE but reviews say otherwise.  Ads imply bbj, but reviews say otherwise, Pics look hot but in person 50 extra pounds, and the list goes on.

But the direct answer to your question is that I suspect the guy assumes your phone is turned off when you aren't taking calls so he figures what's it gonna hurt to try....

In fact, I called about five times last night, right around midnight, trying to get answers to some of my questions.  You never answered, and I didn't trust that someone would listen to or return my messages.

What I wanted to know was, "What is the difference between "GFE" and "Ultimate GFE++"?
I didn't bother reading every page of your web site, like where it mentions, regarding GFE++, to:
"Please be sure check the lady's bio to see if she offers this service"
And I didn't notice that Morgan - who is on today - offers this nebulous service because I didn't bother reading any of her bio (like how she is from California and likes traveling and working out), because I couldn't take my eyes off her pictures long enough to do so.

Also, I noticed (as I was not reading your web site) that on your "Services & Rates" page, it says in bold yellow type:
"AT THIS TIME WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY NEW CLIENTS!!!"
Then, the first sentence of the next paragraph (which I again did not read) says:
"If you are a new client to our service, we welcome you with open arms ..."

So, I guess it is a good thing that I cannot read, because otherwise, I would be really confused as I am trying to be a new client of yours and want to give you my hard earned money.

But seriously, I can feel your pain.  But you have to admit that there IS something to that old saying about "Throwing stones ..."

When I do some searching I create a list of providers I would like to see; not necessarily that day but sometime in the future.  When I call I may not go back to revisit the web to see restricted calling hours.  Most of the time I am trying to set a meeting date for the future and just want to leave a message.  I often do that and generally get a call back during her business hours.  I say just turn off the volume or have email contact. If I don't get a call back in a few days I generally scratch the name and move on.

of the first things I read in an ad/website is hours of availability as I have my own time restrictions. After sunset it's too dark for me to see how to drive, and the nursing home locks the doors at 8:30 p.m. And I can't get going afore 11:00 or noon. So I fully understand where you're coming from.  A lot of men are inconsiderate, a lot of men think the hobby revolves around them, some think the hours of operation blurb is for everyone else except them.

You also make it imposible for a newbie to use your services. And you are arbitrary about what providers you considr "reputable"

Since I can't remove the verification form from the website, I just posted a note to ignore the form till we decide to accept new clients once again.

As for GFE++ I would suggest you read the reviews of the girls who offer it, then you will see what it is. I do not discuss sexual acts on the phone, via email or on the website.

I can only speak for myself, and I do read the reviews and websites.

I would suggest adding your Business Hours on the Schedule page and have them prominently displayed right where you have the numbers to call. I would think that's where many clients are going to look to see what hours the ladies are available.
Personally I would think that would be an appropriate place to post what your hours are.

You have nearly 40 ladies pics at your site, nobody can help a client after 7 PM?  The economy certainly is not hitting you is it?  On the general subject of bugging someone out of hours, I definitely feel for the independent ladies, guys should ALWAYS check their times and be considerate.  But an agency with nearly 40 providers?  We are to feel sorry that you forgot to turn off your phone?  WOW, if you take the time to step back and think about your post, you should feel pretty poorly.  You are so busy in a bad economy that you do not want new clients while it seems most independents (and let's face it, most or moms, even single moms) have to travel all over the place to make ends meet.  And your pissed off that some poor horny SOB wants to "get some" after a bad day at work?  I mean really, was this worth ranting about in this community?  Seems pretty spoiled to me.  I will value the young lady that fought transportation battles all afternoon to met me for a 1 hour session and we were finally able to meet a 11 at night on a Friday.  Oh, she also went overtime on her own.  There is someone who appreciates a new client!

why have a phone # on your site. All your regulars should already know how to contact you.

This has to be one of the weakest complaints I've ever heard because you admitted that you forget to turn the phone off. You don't want new clients well from some of the responses I've read I don't think you'll have a problem there if you keep this attitude.
And I do believe in reading to see if hours are posted. Even if I find no hours posted I'd be sensitive enough not call an indy after 9:00. An agency on the other hand should have voice mail.

Well, I am a newbie hobbyist and do read the reviews.  Some of them more than once.  If the provider has a website, I will go through that thoroughly, before contacting.

I agree that it would be aggravating for folks to be contacting during times when it is clearly notified that you folks will not be available.  I am fully with you on that.

However, what I find a bit aggravating from the provider side of the pond (in my very short tenure in the hobbyist field) is when providers who agree to turn up at a specific time, don't show up and don't even have the courtesy to call and let me (the hobbyist) know that they are skipping....this particular provider has several good reviews on TER, surprisingly.  That behavior clearly is not something that I am a fan of.  

Another point I find irritating is when providers provide email addresses in their profile and never respond back.  I assume they are not even looking at their emails.  If that is so, then please take the email down, so that hobbist time is not needlessly wasted in drafting emails.

You don't keep a separate phone for buisness? If not you are making this a 24/7 buisness. Keep personal life separate from buisness life and this includes your phone then you won't have this problem. Just a thought!

You seem pretty hung up on how many ladies are "fully booked" as you keep saying. If you spend any time at all dealing with any agency you would know that no agency has ALL of the ladies they rep on the schedule at one time. At best it may be four to ten girls in a given week.  Not that this is relevant to the topic at hand but you are taking shots at the lady using facts that don't actually exist except in your mind.

I don't spend time dealing with agencies and didn't even notice at first that it was in your home town.  Sorry.  But if they are not fully booked and doing well, why are they not excepting new clients?  Just seems like a luxury that instead of coming in here looking for clients, it's about "don't call us after hours".  As far as hung up, not really, just another example of how a bigger business can whine about the little things while the rest of the country tries it's best to keep it head above water.  If her biggest worry is nighttime telephone calls or my little post, she is doing exceptionally well.  Just turn off the freakin phone.  But rant away as you wish, I don't mind, it's what the boards are for.  I use e-mails instead of calling anyway.

suspension of accepting new clients?  She posted about it on the Boston Board several times, and is not the only agency to stop for awhile.  There are quite a few Indys who have stopped as well.

provider, agency or indy, would temporarily suspend taking new clients. Until the heat dies down, it's actually very prudent.

My current job has me trying to coordinate fairly large groups of people, whether the media, members of the organization, volunteers etc.  After a year of doing this, I can tell you that nobody bothers to read anything you send them, post on your website, email them, or even tell them.  

I don't know whether we've created a generation of over-stimulated ADD types, or if everybody just needs to feel special by getting personal treatment.  In any case, it seems like they'd rather just pick up the phone or send you an email so you can personally answer whatever dumb question pops in to their heads, whenever it pops into their heads, rather than simply read the information you've already provided them.

With all the venues for communication we now have at our disposal, you'd think things would be better than they've ever been, but just the opposite is true.  Most people will only invest 10 seconds of their time looking at the information you've already provided them, but will have no problem asking you to spend 20 minutes of your time holding their hand as they ask you to repeat it all for them.

Back in the WWII era, the military would always say 3% of any group wouldn't get the message that you just told them. But I think that number has grown to about 33% in 2009.   It's an epidemic, so you're certainly not the only one who is having this happen to them.

I only used the telephone with you to get the room number!  Excessive e-mails maybe, but those you can answer whenever (or ignore).  But I don't call ladies at all hours of the night.  And you know I bother to read info.  You are wonderful at keeping a guy informed via e-mails and text, as well as site updates.
