what is the "two call in 30 minute" system?

Not sure what the 30 minute system is - but the "two call" system means you call your date and she will give you directions to her general location or hotel.  Then when you arrive at a predetermined point (like the parking lot) she will give you the room number or other directions to find her.

It's a security measure to enable girls to screen out axe murderers and blow you off if she happens to get hormonal in the passing 30 minutes...

... for me, is just something to give me a five minute heads up - a chance to light the candles, turn the music on, and slip on my heels.

Plus, it keeps people from showing up 20 minutes early, which trust me, does happen. It's rather disconcerting if your hair is still wrapped in a towel, and your date is already knocking on the door.

Some ladies are able to see the call point, to be sure you're not LE or like the others said.  I know she does, because she asked where I was (not at the door) when I called from the parking entrance.  
As a lady posted the other day, to be discrete, call from the car, not the lobby.

I guess cause you could watch out the window and see if someone gets out of the car with an AK-47 or something... but still, I have always wondered... what the 2 call system does for that...

I always thought it was so that LE could not get a good fix on the location in time for a raid... or to sit and collect data on an incall location.... or to keep the church ladies from showing up and making a public spectacle of themselves...

Or better yet, walk in and ask to cash a check for $$$ at the desk.... course, something tells me that these have all been done...

Funny, but often true. Over the years I have had so-so success with the 2-call system. Several times after the first call, I will drive to the appointed location and make the second call, only for the girl to never pick up. Waste of time, and if it's late, no other options may be available that night.

I have had this happen with expensive girls, and CL-type girls - no pattern has emerged in my experience. I often wondered what happened in the interim:

1. Got another offer in the meantime - Bird in the hand, etc.
2. A 'regular' called, and took my slot.
3. Decided to hang out with friends instead.
4. Double-booked and didn't realize it at the time.
5. Forgot, and turned off her 'provider' cell phone.

Regardless, does not explain why there was no courtesy cancellation call.
