Why would I want to take a giant step backwards?

I do use the new version when I must, but it's like comparing "New Coke" to "Coca Cola Classic" there simply is no comparison.

That could be said about pretty much new "anything" as far as some people are concerned.  I more liken the new version to using nice sleek MacBook Air with OSX and the old one to Windows 2000..  Wasn't really all that bad, but MacBook rocks..

We'd be sitting at the pool bar of the Cocal simultaneously posting and I'd see his ugly, antediluvian "Classic" TER and wonder why anyone would want to use that.
When I joined 4 years ago, you automatically were on the new version of TER, so I never knew anything else. No one has ever explained what's so great about the ugly, older version.  And clearly, it has reliability issues because TER (wisely) isn't spending any money to maintain it.
So, by all means, you and GaG are free to go down with that ship.  I have something much better for you to go down on! LMAO!

...wasn't around yet. I went away for a while finding "new" TER when I returned. I like the stark contrast in colors on classic. Now so many of the links take you to "new" and require you to log in you may as well just stick with the "new" version.

And just to be extra perverse, TER swapped the position of the "add a comment" and the "back to forum" links just to be sure to screw me up every time I have to use this POS
