When Michael Jackson died, I was calling out to an agency madam with a thick accent...I said something like "I just left XXX Smith" and she said (w/thick accent) "Michael Jackson just died". I was walking along Park Ave. in the 80s...my mind more on the beautiful weather/surroundings than anything of import she might have had to say to me...and plus, it was hard for me to understand her. She had to repeat a few times. The client I'd seen had actually played a Michael Jackson song during our session.
