First off Happy New Year's Ladies & Gents, hope you all are having a safe new year day.

Question I had for the ladies, when a new client calls does his area code from the number he's calling from matter to you? I hobby mainly in Baltimore (washington dc sometime), and also in the Raleigh-Durham area when I travel for work.

My new hobby phone has a 202 area code. With in the past 24 hours, two different providers in NC seemed suspicous as to why my area code was from so far away. Ladies does a guy area code matter to you?

It bothers me more when I call you back and your VM has not been set up. I know this may sound strange but it makes me wonder?

When I do notice that your area code is from another state. I may ask what brings you to the area. Only because I want to get to know you better..

due to me being based here in Vegas there are gents from other cities and other countries visiting here.
I am not suspicious at all if a gent contacts me but does not have a (702)area code.
There are many conventions here and people just on vacation so of course the gents will have out of town numbers.I usually ask a gent what brings him to town?I don't know why those providers would be suspicious of your area code unless they are just used to seeing local gents maybe?

Vegas is a lot different from the hobby spot here in NC. A lot of the ladies I see in NC usually tour in Balitmore, and DC, so we kind of alreay know of each other, from them reading my reviews, and me reading her reviews and seeing her ads.

I mainly have this problem with ladies who are local here, or are newly touring, who seem suspicous. I also sound pretty professional (some say) over the phone, A lot of ladies ask a lot am I LE? So it's a combonation of both..

They don't want Washington fucking with them over and over again...

LOL I'm too from DC area, but never got the question. My area code is 703 though (NVA)

..........and most of my calls come from blocked numbers, as many of my gentlemen callers work with one of the government agencies, or they are a contractor, with one.  Also, many gentlemen pick up a burn phone, in a city they do not reside in, just so they can have an area code outside of their place of residence.

  If I worreid about area codes, I wouldn't have a business!

Good answer too on the area codes. I was going to say something like that. Plus there are always gentlemen travelling, into those areas. I am surprsied some ladies would question area codes. I would think most would care less about an area code. If that is an issue for some, the OP just needs to move on and find some who don't care.

Nope, not at all. Now, I'm not from a big city, but most people who call are traveling businessmen, or from an outlying area, so an area code that's actually from Madison, WI, happens fewer than out of state area codes.

the RDU area has LOTS of transplants and regular visitors.  Are these mature and established providers who actually understand the economics of where they live???

I actually went out to Wally World, and bought me a cheap throwaway tracphone for out here this evening. Already put it to use.

Where I am I see all different area codes - even from locals. It is not in the least unusual. If you are from out of town, I may ask what brings you to town - as the other ladies have mentioned. This is not so much suspicion but conversation. I still will do a reference check to make myself comfortable no matter what the area code.
