You can't handle it, at least not directly. Those sites are businesses that have repeatedly demonstrated a lack of desire to proactively fight fake ads or bait and switches (the "EROS Verified" label is laughable).

All you can do is stop patronizing those sites. This action will indirectly send a message that you won't tolerate this treatment.

Guys: How do you handle the growing bait and switch problem?  I don't know if it bothers you as much as me but, for example, there are very few girls left on EROS who are NOT posting phoney photos of themselves.

How do you handle a bait and switch scenario?>  When you are on outcall or incall and you see the girl for the first time, and you realize she is NOWHERE near her photos, what do you do?

That was my largest concern for my first time. But you are exactly right. And this forum exists in the first place to help us hobbyists fight ripoffs and bait and switch. I would personally only contact ladies with many positive and consistent review. Or of course, go with a local agency that is very well respected.

Why waste so much time with so many fakes ? I will not see a eros provider unless I see a TER review. I also check BP because the prices are almost always lower by $50/hour.

Just because she is paying high dollars for an ad is no guarantee she is who she says she is.  Google the phone number, check the pics, and above all, search for reviews.  If you are having bad luck with EROS girls, I suspect you are not being very thorough in checking them out.  I have seen several girls that use that site, but I did my homework on them before making contact.

If you are leery of meeting a provider, I highly recommend that you do what I do.

Meet the provider at some place such as the following places:

Starbucks
Panera Bread
McDonalds
Wendys

You get the idea. That way you can decide for yourself if the provider is legit and matches her posted pictures and information.

Many providers who use hotels will choose hotels that have at least one of the aboved named establishments close by. Just ask the provider which one of those places she likes to meet you at.

Now, if a provider REFUSES to meet you, then a RED FLAG should pop in your head and you'll need to decide at that point whether to continue the communication with the provider or not. If that provider refuses to meet me beforehand, then I just cancel the session and move onto the next provider.

The whole point of TER is to provide sources to research.  It is way more effient to start with  TER...  research her ads, web site for pictures, her TER profile & reviews...   Yes, you need VIP to complete the research.   TER IS A REVIEW SITE!!

Ummm.... if a provider agrees to leave her incall location, when you are on the way to a scheduled appointment, THAT should be a red flag. I know some ladies will schedule "meet  & greet" appointments, sometimes to "verify" a gent, or to just see if they click, but most charge for that. The places that I have listed are just suggestions, not required establishments. If you and the hobbyist agree to meet at a fancy restaurant, by all means do so. My point of my posting is to give people another option to verify each other. Nothing more than that.

I'm not Mac-savvy so my apologies if that is your system:

1) Install Firefox with No Script, Tineye and the TER plugin. Learn how to use them. This should be your default browser.
2) Install Google Chrome with Tineye, Kill Evil (and Ghostery and Do Not Track while yer at it). Kill Evil will allow some Javascript and re-enable right-clicking and other functions that piss us all off.

In response to OP, "only go to TER reviewed providers" is not bad advice but depending on your area, may limit you and it cuts out those TOFTT finds!

Search TER, Tineye, Google Images. Search phone #s on google, add key words (massage, escort, anything unique from the add) to narrow results.

If still interested, contact provider and ask if pics are recent/real. If in doubt, ask for new pic, maybe giving you the finger or making the peace sign (saw that in someone else's post -- good idea.) She has every right to refuse but if you are respectful and she is legit, she should agree, especially if she charges over $200.

Will it eliminate what could be some great providers? Sure. But it's more likely to eliminate B&S and may even set the tone when you complement her on an adorable/hawt pic.

This is my way for doing the personalized verification for my own life and safety. If you providers don't agree with this, move on. Don't worry about it.

I totally agree.  My safety is on the line, and I will do anything in order to stay out of harm's way.  I will gladly meet a trick at a safe location, i.e., coffee shop, etc.,  before the actual date - in order to make sure the situation is safe.  There is nothing more dangerous than entering a room with someone sight unseen, not knowing who he is.

I think one of the things that can be done is to put pressure on sites like Eros, Cityvibe and Backpage...back in the day, Eros used to verify photos...they stopped.  

There should be some onus on these sites to be responsible for those who advertise on it...
