So, I was told public employee payrolls are public info, and there is a way to access that info if you have the real name of a client to see if they are LE. Ever heard of this?
little to no privacy because they are paid with tax money, so its stupid and reckless for them to be hobbying. Sooner or later, they will be discovered, IMO.

I was talking about the majority, not less than 5%. I'll spell it out next time for those that can't figure it out.
I said "public" employees. I was referring to Federal, State and Municipal employees. Each of these groups has certain employees who's records are not subject to FOI requests, like LE, government attorneys and their investigators, and others in sensitive or investigative jobs.
And any cop working under cover is going to have a fake identity that can be checked out. They won't list the AKA on the public employee listing. I suspect it's also not like you're going to get much more than an name and department listing. More than that starts getting into the Personal Identifying Information that is protected under various laws. I don't think anyone was required to sign away their personal privacy merely to work as a bureaucrat.
