The scenario below occurred a year ago & it ties back to the 'Deal-breaker' thread.  When you're meeting someone for the first time, risk is high & a small detail can derail things.

She pops up on my P411 list--a new local girl with hot pix.   She's friendly on first contact.  We book an appt & I offer to pay for her room.  On game day, I drive over to her hotel, she's already there.  I call  & ask for the room number,  On her end, I hear a dude's voice in the background.  She laughs, says something in the background, then starts talking to me.

Provider:  Call me back in five minutes & I'll give you the room number.

Z:  Who's in the room with you, babe.

Provider:  What? (...long pause here...) it's just the T.V.

Z: Meet me at the pizzeria across the street if you want me to pay for your room.

Provider:  What do you mean, why are we meeting there?

Z:  Because I can't walk into that room now.  If you bring anyone with you to the pizzeria, you'll get zero.

Ten minutes later, she walks across the street and I meet her in the restaurant parking lot.  I'm business-like and polite.  I introduce myself, take out my wallet, & give her $80 for the room.

Provider:  Why don't we just have the session, there's no one in my room.

Z:  Let's walk over to the Super 8 next door, I'm sure they have a vacancy.  I'll take care of it.

Provider: No...I can't leave my room.

So I cut her loose.  She was gracious enough to call me later & thank me for paying for the room.  She popped up a few weeks later on my local board.  A guy posted an alert on her.  When she came to his house for  an appt, she had a male 'driver' with her.  So the puzzle pieces eventually came together.
It was really unfortunate--she was pretty & likable--but she couldn't leave her tool at home.  --z

its even more important for her (and for the guy too) to really follow the strictest of etiquette so neither side gets wigged out. Yeah, if I heard that male voice in the backgound, I dont know if I'd even meet up across the street. He followed his instincts and those instincts were given to us for a reason. It doenst mean they are always 100% accurate, but in this biz...WAY better safe than sorry.

You never know if it was a real driver or just pimp driving her around. A lot of girls who are seemingly independent are actually working for a pimp.

Good move by Z to cancel the appointment..

doesn't mean she's out to do you harm. I know of a few providers that prefer to have someone familiar close by in case things go wrong. I do understand that it is freaky for the client and you were right not to go across the street, I wouldn't have either. But to just write a provider off for having a driver/her own escort seems a bit harsh...

She had her own incall.  Why did you offer to pay?  Was she there only to meet you?  I've never paid for a girl's hotel room, at least not directly.  There have been times when a girl has asked me to get the room and reduced her charge as a result.  I'm just not sure from what you wrote whether it was one of those situations.
As for the guy in her room, I would have just said, "Thanks, but no thanks."  I'm sure I've been with girls who had some muscle in the next room but they never made it obvious.  And it could have been a rip-off.

So having a driver or being cautious is a deal breaker?   Or are you implying she was perhaps out to get you in some way?
I see. You bring a tool to your appts just to be 'cautious', is that it?  Do you let  your clients know about this swinging dick who's lurking nearby?  Ask your clients to leave a dollar on the pillow just for him.

Nick:  I offered to pay for the room when I first contacted her.  I felt obligated to do that--I was playing by instinct & intuition.  I didn't have the benefit of knowing for certain that she was working with a guy till a few weeks later, when an alert was posted about her 'driver' on a local board.  --z

lots of gals provide.  Lots have SOs, BFs, Pimps, drivers.  If your spidey sense says NO, than it's smarter to listen.  Sometimes, those tiny cues are all you get.  We often have guys post...  I had my doubts...  went anyway & something unpleasant happened.
With no reviews to rely on...   it could have been fine...  or not...   But if you were not comfortable walking into her room, HER TURF...   you would not have had a good time anyway.

that has a driver. It is all very professional, and for some business people that are in town for a convention and have no need to rent a car, this kind of service makes sense. Not to mention it is a great way for the lady to have an extra sense of safety, after all she is more likely to be the one that can get hurt.

Nothing has to be said on the ride there or back, just tip the driver or not and have a great time.

In your case I understand why you did it, I'm just saying it does not always have to be that way. Then again I'm not talking about a BP girl that is unestablished, I'm talking about someone highly reviewed and a higher price range.

Better luck next time,

MM

solves safety issues. Knock on wood, no probs this far. Though I could hold my own pretty well if need be.
Nonetheless, I like keeping other folks outta my biz and personal affairs.
I'd totally trip if a client brought someone else with him.

I only asked your motive for what you insist to be a deal breaker. Some of us exercise extreme caution as preventative measures, I mean let's face it, we have all heard stories and even know of a few ladies in waiting who are no longer with us even though they assumed they were safe, but that is neither here nor there.

I used a driver as an agency girl when I was introduced to the industry. Given the horror stories I read on the internet (I know a wee bit over dramatic) I was not comfortable going to outcalls alone.

Even now if I am required to go somewhere out of the way I will ask a friend (usually girlfriend) to drive me, so no I do not feel the need to have a swinging dick accompany me.

& I promise the next man to share my company I will insist he leave a chocolate on the pillow for the girlfriend who drove me next time it's required.

Also I do not see why there is an alert posted for 'drivers' unless they are suspected pimps.

Everyone does it but as an available option to help stand out, I see the benefit. You are correct a taxi does work in most cases and I know most of you ladies know right where to kick, lol

Surely you understand why a guy would get wigged out if he suspected another guy was in the girls incall location with her at the time of the appt., right? Its one thing to have a driver, none of us have a problem with that. If that makes you feel safer, then by all means. But we have every right to walk away if we feel we are being set up either by LE or by getting our ass beat and robbed. This doesnt make sense to you?

But my response did not warrant a rude reply.

I understand your need for safety as well as you should understand ours but all of my friends know (pm them, I'm sure they won't mind) that I would never endanger their life or cause them to feel unsafe when they're with me. So Z I do see where you're coming from but your tone is what sets me off. I can see where a BP gal with no reviews and no ads elsewhere would definitely be a red flag for safety and perhaps having a John in the room with her still or even a pimp, driver, etc.

But there ARE three sides to the story- hers, yours and the truth regardless of the evidence.

It is not safe, anything can happen in a two against one situation.

So the simple answer is, yes, it is deal breaker as far as I am concerned for more than one reason. Safety being one and mood killer being the second.

Translation above:  If you're foolish enough to book her, then you already know she's not coming alone. And if you think she's only bringing along her 90 lb girlfriend, you should think again.  --z

This whole scenario just sounds amateurish to me. I don't meet a guy at a restaurant nor will I even go to a Holiday Inn, much less a Super 8. I have a driver FOR MY CLIENTS, not for myself and would never even bother answering the phone if there was a person, much less a guy in the room with me.

I have heard stories of providers who have children in the background when taking calls, and I find that appalling. We offer a professional service..at least most of us do, and that should be at every level of the date including the impression we make before you get there. I am amazed at how many stupid hookers are out there.

How hard is it to walk out the room and take a call so you are alone? How hard is it to tell your driver or who ever else, to shut up when your phone rings so your clients don't "hear" another voice? How discreet is talking to a client while someone is there with you? Stupid, and why I prefer email.

I'm going to contemplate this while crying to my 130 pound girlfriend (you were way off on 90 pounds, no one my height should ever be so tiny).

I respect your opinion and replied to gain an answer with perhaps more depth but it is apparent that I'm not going to get it since the point has been made by other parties. I do see all sides and only ask that you do the same.

I like how you open that portal to hell: "usually girlfriend to drive me".  So whenever you think something  'unusual' might happen,  you call the Tool.  Just make sure the Tool has an extra room-card key, in case there's any trouble.  While you're handing over your envelope to the Tool, let's now talk about an Indy girl.

An Indy girl doesn't need a pimp/protector.  An Indy girl is smart enough to run her own business: she screens, establishes a client list, and keeps all the money she earns.  That's not you.    --z

By the by, darlin' the only tool I'm handing an envelope to is the postman when sending off college transcripts or money orders for traffic violations and citations.

I mean for fucks sake I am Asian, why do you think I need a driver for long distances? I am a terrible, terrible driver.

& also, sounds like you could be a jaded 'tool' with the long list of descriptions you gave me that I didn't know about, does anyone have a list of 'Tools' they might loan me so I too can be enlightened in this endeavor I didn't even know I was a part of?

I asked a question, which I believed warranted an answer.

Last quote = sarcasm. Kind of hard to get across the internet.

Did you forget the quote where I said I will have someone drive me if it's out of the way (yes I did, hence long distances, tah dahhh!) driver = person/friend/(in your case tool) who will drive person client/lady, etc to location of their choice. So 1 + 1 = 2 and 2 squared = 4.

I am always wary despite my extensive screening but oh wait you weren't here when one of the ladies in the area was murdered and stuffed underneath the hollow part of the platform hotel bed.

I will always follow proper etiquette in all aspects of my business (in or out of the hobby) so when I don't feel like driving because I'm lazy or am driving 3 hours to see someone you can bet your sweet ass I will ever so kindly ask my girlfriend or even a guy friend to drive me. If anyone has an issue with it then the solution is simple, don't see me.
That's why I insist on incall, so my tool can hide in the closet :D

So 'arf, arf, arf' and 'woof, bark, woof'

Maybe you should pick one story & stick to it.  First you need a driver because you're scared.  Then you need a driver because you're an asian woman.  You've just added another excuse above.

And now you're resorting to tragedy.  As if you're morally superior by attaching yourself to someone else's death.  A young provider was murdered in my home town.  I still have an e-mail from her. You think this type of tragedy is unique to you?  You're a tiresome prima donna.  --z

Glad you didn't go down that pyramid of doom up above, lol.

I'm siding with Z on his decision to bail. If I'd heard a male voice in the background, no way would I walk in there. He could be the SO or her pimp, whatever, it doesn't matter. It's a perfect setup for a robbery, two against one. I've seen providers with other girls in their rooms and even that made me nervous. Two girls against one guy is still two against one.

Where Z went wrong was luring her out of the room as a test. I think he should have bailed the moment he heard the male voice. Regardless, his test worked and proved she was lying about no one being in the room.

In general, we realize some providers have drivers or others looking out for them and/or checking in with them regularly. But this girl was stupid for having the guy in the room with her while she's on the phone. I wonder where he would have gone had the appt gone forward? Closet maybe? Scary thought... good move Z but next time leave the moment you hear another voice.

Thank you for the invigorating Sunday banter. I certainly do enjoy a well poised argument as well as one whom pays attention to points and CLEARLY has no problem making the same human mistakes as I in reiterating points that are stated in previous arguments.

You are in the running for the second golden ticket!
