Just wondering... if a provider ever reached out and thanked them for the night?

It's a nice gesture but It's generally simply their way of letting you know that they would be willing to see you again. A way of reaching out for future business.

Why not, as long as the gentleman is comfortable with me contacting him via his e-mail?  Very important to find out what his parameters are first though.

When my ATF/Regular retired, she sent me a very heartfelt thank you/good bye email.  It was very touching.

Ive kept that email close by when the bs of this hobby gets thick, Im reminded of the good times I have had with her and there are still good people in this.

Once a provider/SB has your phone number,  e-mail is usually replaced with texts.  It's fun to get those unsolicited e-mails/texts, but just remember this is P4P.  And be careful about what you wish for.  My new SB (19 years old) would drive any man crazy with her texting.    

One day last week, she texts me about our next date. Then she goes off topic to other subjects.  Her numerous texts + my responses = 74 texts total.   It can be exhausting--just a 5 minute phone call would have covered all of that. --z

Several times. Although you would like to think they are sincere, it is good business practice.

Quite often. Its a nice touch and a signal that she would like to see you again. Remember, repeat business is good for them.

If she is a well-established provider, you can give yourself a (measured) pat on the back.  She is selective in who she sees, you did something(s) right (showered first, treated her with respect, didn't blow your load in the first 5 seconds) and she has placed you on the "OK to take money from again list".  If you found her on BP, her communication plus $4.70 will buy you a grande latte at Starbucks.

It could also be bit more, that you established a nice connection with her and she actually looks forward to seeing you again.  Time will tell, and you will know if it starts to actually feel like time spent with a girlfriend.  We call these ladies "ATFs".

Sometimes by email sometimes by text. I don't read to much into it.I think of it as good business practice, for owners to thank me for using their services, especially in a highly competitive environment. Nothing more. The closing on the thank you email/text is usually the provider would enjoy seeing me again.

About 2 weeks after a great visit that turned into an overnight, I got an email from her thanking me. I really appreciated her reaching out. That was a classy thing to do.

Every time I give her a  ten when she's really a six or seven I receive  an appreciative  call
or thank you letter .

If I let you know that I enjoyed the time, and say "if you should want to return, you are always welcome", it's me telling them for real, that they are welcome back and that I consider them valued clients and easy to be with.

If I do not want to see them again, I say nothing and then become unavailable. While you guys feel it's insincere for the most part and just good business practice, only we know the value of good clients (good meaning whatever the individual lady feels). So when someone tells you they enjoyed your company and are happy to see you again, they might very well mean it in the most sincere way.

I have been in this way longer than you have to "understand the play".  

I know exactly where she went and why she had to retire but that is of no importance to you.  

There is nothing wrong with what you posted but it would be better if you went back to the sandbox to play.

Ha exactly. I have not received many but I think mostly because I send one from the car as I am driving away and they may have intended to but I beat them to it and it turns into a reply instead.
