...the article is pure baloney...excuse me for what may appear to be a rant, but the article appears to be made up off of the top of the author's head.  Not a single fact, not a single researched item-just opinions of some pompous 'expert on human relationships'!   Does this article really make you think?  If so, what about?  About quiting the hobby?

I love my wife and could not ask any more from one person. That does not mean I don't love to have sex with another woman. I too can not expect to be all things to my wife.
I drive a van and it serves my needs on a daily basis, yet there are times when the weather is right that I love to take the convertible out for a spin.

It's not in the male nature to be monogamous.   Of course, it's in our nature to be selfish, combative, arrogant and possesive, too.   I don't see the point of HAVING cake if you can't eat it.

But the bottom line guys .... as my mom once told my sister:

"Honey, if you're not giving your man what he wants, how he wants it and when he wants it, don't come crying to me when you find that some other woman IS."

Or as my friend Roxie the Hooker said (this is back when they were prostitutes and not providers) "I'd be out of business tomorrow if the average American Housewife didn't think her pussy was made of solid gold"

So maybe it's really cake-WOMEN and not cake-MEN

While there are guys like this in the world, there are also lots of cake women (ladies who can't stand the idea of cutting it loose with wheir husbands but are willing to play with the bad boys on the side).  

These wonderful people, coupled with the women who LOVE the sadism inherent in providing bad sex, no sex, or indifferent sex to their husbands make up the bulk of the troubled marriages in the world.  By far, the largest category is the sadists.

May they all rot in hell.

While there are certainly a number of men who fit into his neat boxes, there are a vast number who do not.  Discussions on here and survey's conducted here and elsewhere indicate that there are a number of men who truly love their wives and did, IMHO, marry for the right reasons, yet still have some form of sex outside of marriage.  

Most apparent are those who are not getting their sexual needs met by their wives for various reasons, otherwise have good marriages, are likely good husbands, but see a provider once a month.  Why are their sexual needs not met?  The number one reason appears to be that their wife has simply lost interest in sex (this could be his fat slobbering fault though as well).  Second is that he's found that he can no longer get it up with his wife (or possibly just not as often as he'd like), often because she's gained weight and is less physically attractive.  Third is a physical limitation such as a broken hip or back or an infection that makes intercourse too painful for the woman.

These aren't all cakemen.  Many have no interest in an affair.  They don't want another wife or a mistress.  They just want/need to have their sexual needs met.
