I was given this in from the scheduler for a provider I was trying to schedule with --
I provided references and they asked for my TER handle which I gave....

For me the whole point of reviewing providers on TER is to continue my VIP membership free of charge. As such, I write my reviews based on my experiences and perceptions, whether they be good or bad, regardless of how any particular provider benefits or suffers from said review. The problem with that is the risk of being blacklisted for being honest. As such, your best option is not to tell these providers or agencies that you write reviews. Don’t offer them your TER username, especially if you’re writing negative reviews. In addition, don’t write super specific reviews, and don’t post them right away, that way you won’t be identified as the person who wrote that review. I recommend writing up the review and then waiting 3 months before posting, that way (hopefully) the escort won’t know you wrote it.

IMO that is. If a lady doesn't want to be reviewed, she should have it on her website and ads. I respect ladies that do not want to be reviewed and have friends in the biz with no reviews policies.

I have not used an Alias only my Handle. How is this set up on TER? Are we reviewing under an Alias rather than our handle?
Does the TER site link the Alias with the Handle/ account?

It is indeed sad that you can get blackballed just for being honest.  

Just go to the top right of the page and you'll see your handle. Hover the cursor over it and "Account" will drop down. Click on that and go to your Account Manager page. At the top, next to your handle you'll see a box that says "My Alias" (or something like that...since I already have an alias, that's what it says). Click on it and you'll be told how to choose an alias. Once you have it, you can post with either your handle or your alias (just not on the same thread). You can also review with your handle or your alias. So, yes, they are linked here but only on your account. No one else can tell unless you mistakenly out your alias by posting carelessly. You can also change your alias but only after waiting for a period of time, though I forget how many weeks or months.

Though message on Ter, other than that I don't know any thing about review boards, that way learn new sights all time many are junck.

Just click on his handle. Funny, he has a ton of reviews, too, so you'd think he'd know this.

Given you are giving out you TER handel you would want to review under your alias. You probably want to keep posting under the main account name (handle) or using that for screening probably becomes moot.

This is a service; if a provider doesn't like being reviewed, she needs to find a new line of work.  

how long a restaurant would last if they made you agree not to review them under any circumstances.  Its not a reasonable request under any circumstances regardless of the goods or services being provided.  

+1 from me as well. It's always funny to see providers who want to be advertised but shun the review.  

who wrote the review. I dont see many ppl and all my apps are different. I know when a review is fake. (have had few of those already)

Try posting a review on the #1 restaurant booking site/app--Open Table.

However these days TER is a shadow of its previous self.  The number of reviews is way down--especially real reviews and not fake one's written to get VIP for free like CDL.  It would be great to wind the tape back 10 years to TER's hay days, though that it is no longer realistic.  TER is kind of like your collection of VHS tapes--relics of the old days.  

Wondering when was the last time you posted a response that did not include a reference to CDL. Was that in 2012 too?

Please provide everyone with the review requirements for membership.

You really need to find something  else  to occupy your time.  These  junior high  school  comments  are really  boring.

What changed in 2020/2021?  

If they are using an alias then you know they are VIP.  
If you got a PM from them then you know they are VIP.  
If you can do the math on their reviews, and figure they were submitted within the free VIP day range. then you know they are VIP.
If it’s a provider and her reviews are linked, then you know she is VIP.
Other than that, there is no sure way to click on a handle and know a poster’s VIP status.

Well, I'm a newcomer to TER more or less, but I don't come to this site to look at providers ads. The site to me is a place where reviews are. So I look at reviews.

However thank god you have sensibility!

It was that when I did it I saw the link to all his reviews.

If you do the math, there is nothing saying he is currently VIP by his reviews. He certainly could be paying for VIP or submitting RAPs and PRs, but we have no way of knowing that. However we can figure out how many days of VIP he has by his reviews. If he only receives VIP by submitting reviews, then he most likely is out of VIP days currently.  

Because I am lazy, I just assumed. LOL.

So I've read a lot of the posts, which only talk about a particular provider blacklisting someone. But the OP says a booker told him, "I’m not sure if your aware but ladies are actually saying you still write reviews in 2020/2021. Most ladies now don’t like that and try to stay away from men who do. Someone has blacklisted you for it even."

I did not take your comments as directed towards me. I am not in my teens, so I'm not insecure anymore about what others think of how I spend my money.  

I think it implies that some lady don't want to see someone who reviews many providers on a review site. Not necessarily that hes been BLd. Basically, there's some review threshold that make the providers say that he might pose a certain risk to them.

There are provider only Blacklists that identify mongers as “Do Not See”

right here on TER.  There is a private board for Reviewers as well where we can talk about the providers.  (Be aware that there are often "leaks" to providers about what is being said about them, so you still have to be careful.)   Click discussion boards, and then "More" and you will see it on the drop-down list.

I agree and will restate "Please forgive if you've read any "cheapness" comments as being directed towards you.  I respect hobbyists that have all different "budgets"."  

Absolutely. I never knocked anyone for paying more. I mag have commented, especially in light of prices for some going up that imo provider X or y may not be worth it anymore, but it's just my opinion. There are providers who could raise prices twice and still be wroth it in my eyes, but not in eyes of others.

I have no problems with you (or anyone) posting their opinion--that's why we are here, right?

as a provider to me if I guy has a desire to talk about our get-together so be it it is a compliment that I could inspire him to write...

Quite frankly, I think that those who don't believe in Giving or Getting reviews on site like this is self obsorbed
