The one time I can recall was just after I removed my socks.

The provider asked me if I was a state trooper.

"Why do you ask?"  I replied.

She said that my shins were smooth which is often the case with men who wear boots like troopers do.

At the time I worked in construction and wore high top boots.

She didn't seem to care in either case.  Many gals see LE as clients anyways.  

I think if I was confronted as you were, I'd pick up the envelope and high tail it out of there.

The last thing I need if a trooper pulls me over is for him to be all tensed up on account of a lack of sex.

Guys- ever been accused by a provider of being LE? I met a relatively new provider for the first time last month, and after placing the envelope on the table at her incall, asked to use to the bathroom to freshen up (as the instructions on her website requested.) At this point, she said, "You're a cop, aren't you?" When I said no, she asked me to empty my pockets, saying I looked like a cop (whatever that means.) Although things settled down and we had a nice session, it kind of took the charm out of the encounter. Anyone have any similar experiences? Ladies, have you ever accused a customer of being LE in a situation like this?

Not cool!  This is what checking references and doing your homework are for.

Yes I have. As matter of fact I had a cop give the to me envelope & walk to the bathroom only to have a knock at the door followed by a voice... Knock. knock."LAPD OPEN UP!!!" So yes it's better to be safe than sorry.

Shouldnt ruin the mood for you. Use your imagination during the session and be all like Yeh im the police while pounding away lol.

Besides...state troopers are hot. I don't think they work in vice. Some of them make me want to speed just to get to watch them walk up to my car.

didn't really check with the providers, or that she doesn't realize she needs to do some research on the providers too. Too bad that happens.

Name, place of employment, and two recent references. And I know for certain she contacted at least one of them...

Early in my hobbying career I was on a business trip in Long Island and met a very nice lady from a local agency. Because I was new the only reference I had was my work. I don't know if the agency checked it or not. Well things started out well. We talked for awhile about all the little things one uses to fill the time. When I suggested we get comfortable she broke into tears and said she knew I was LE and please don't arrest her! I was floored, it took forever to calm her down and convince her I wasn't LE and she had nothing to worry about. Fortunately, after the excitement was over we had a terrific session that went way over the scheduled time. We continued to see each other for several years until she retired, sharing many laughs over that first meeting.

Well, having dated a retired trooper, I can tell you it is all that and a bag of chips for them. The NC troopers were in the news for having sex on the job, but in my opinion, they should have left them alone. What do they expect from a man who lives on the edge all the time? He can't be a pretty boy.

Not long after I first became "Stephanie" a young man, that I had screened by providers, came to visit.  I don't know what it was about him but I had a weird feeling about him and behaved like a paranoid loony.

He introduced himself, laid down the envelope and got in the shower. My mind was running wild and to make a long story short, I told him he made me nervous and that he's have to leave. He tried his best to convince me he was okay told me all about his job with one of the biggest world wide companies EVER. With no luck on his part, he dressed, I gave him the envelope and showed him the door. After he left I started looking for the connections to his job (I didn't check work refs before this I was too new) and there he was all over the net.

Needless to say, I felt like a jackass. Sent him a BIG "I'm so sorry" that I had treated him the way I did.

I have to ad it was definitely my loss....you should have seen him naked!!!!

sorry, dude, it probably won't be the last time you hear it.  cops just have a certain thing.  can you tell when people are lying or have a sixth sense around perverts and thieves?  Smell people's thoughts?  you may just have the "cop gene".

I've heard stories of bust where the guys were wearing anything from business attire to casual clothing, both fat and skinny, young and old. Did you ask her why she thought you were a cop?

I've gotten the "you look like a cop" thing, but fortunately this type of girl usually also believes that a cop is required to say he's a cop if asked.

It's much simpler to say "no" than to set them straight.

I believe he was bluffing and trying to intimidate me into dating him for free.  He continued calling me after that appointment.  I never returned his calls.  I have no respect for people like that.

No extra "cop" senses. And it probably won't freak me out quite so much if it happens again.

I did ask her- that's where the "looks like a cop" came from. I've been pulled over while driving by police that run the gamut in looks from Buford T. Justice to a state trooper who I seriously thought might be Matt Damon. In the end, she thought maybe it was the goatee...

We have more of the Donut eating types here in New Orleans. Kudos to keeping fit.

One Backpage lady said I sounded like a cop because I was too polite and refused to see me. Her loss as I am not LE and I am prompt, pay properly, clean and polite. I thought being a polite hobbyist was a good thing, guess not in her book.

Sorry, kinda Homered out there for a second.  No donuts for me; after losing 120+ pounds thanks to weight loss surgery, I'm not about to go back to how I was.

the stripper gave the provider i was with a lap dance and asked her several times if she was a cop before making out with her.  Then she did the exact same thing to me asking me If was a cop while dancing.

Leaves some donuts on the table..   LOL... just had to say it...

Maybe she was turned on by cops like chucky cheese here.

I was wondering if you knew about the verification sites at the time? If so did you even think to ask about them.  Also I was also wondering do you have any professional relationships with providers now so that you can ask questions and share information? That way you don't waste his time and your time.

I mean, I show up clean and nicely dressed. Have refreshments, and sometimes a gift of some sort. Car's just been washed and gassed up and ready if she would like to go somewhere to have dinner or see a show or something.

I guess when they reach for the lighter and accidently turn on the siren, or the lights start flashing, that might've given it away, but really?

And I suppose when I asked another to sit in back, that probably didn't go off too well, either....
